Since Trump can only serve this one last term he has to already be thinking about who he’ll be endorsing as his successor in four years. This is the main point. It needs to be someone who is hostile to the deep state, preferably a Conservative governor, or a highly intelligent outsider with the balls to carry on MAGA (and Lake has more balls than 90% of the republican office holders).
We shall see.

No. Paramount is a WIN in 2024, and that can happen only if the VP brings additional block of voters for Trump ticket. Another MAGA person does not bring additional voters. Trump already has that block.
