Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) slammed former President Trump’s Thursday speech at the southern border as “disgusting” and “racist.”
Murphy, a member of President Biden’s campaign advisory board, ripped Trump’s remarks given during an Eagle Pass, Texas, visit, calling them “xenophobic,” and went after the former president for his role in tanking bipartisan legislation that included border provisions last month.
“I just think it’s disgusting,” Murphy said during an appearance on “CNN News Central” on Friday, when anchor John Berman asked him about Trump’s speech. “I think it’s racist and xenophobic.”
Trump visited the southern border Thursday, touring the area with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R). During his speech, he said, “This is a Joe Biden invasion. This is a Biden invasion,” when talking about the U.S.-Mexico border.

No nation on Earth has open borders. Just US apparently but not for long. We have the money to locate all of them and deport them... legally regardless of their 5 years ahead “court dates” they will never attend. Bill increased incarceration for young black men
Now Says his Support for Crime Bill Was a Mistake
Joe Biden said it was a mistake to support the 1994 crime law that led to an increase in incarceration of black men.
Mr. Biden said supporting the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act was a mistake but that the bill came from good intentions.
Biden has been criticized for shepherding the bill, and other criminal justice measures, through Congress in his role as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee in the 1980s and 1990s.
Critics of Mr. Biden have said the 1994 crime bill, and other laws passed during that time, led to systemic racism within the nation’s criminal-justice system.....and led to mass incarceration for young Black men.
Mr. Biden also said he still believes that “more cops clearly mean less crime,” but only “if they’re involved in community policing not jump squads.”
Curiously enough not many of the Rat Party's recently invited guests have settled there.
