A representative of the company told Russian news outlet RBC that the decision was made after Roscosmos lost almost 80 percent of its export income after losing orders and key partners due to the war in Ukraine. This year, it intends to sell its "non-core" assets ...
Borisov said in December that the company had lost contracts worth 180 billion rubles ($1.9 billion) out of 230 billion ($2.5 billion) as a result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and subsequent sanctions imposed on Russia by Kyiv's allies...
In October last year, Roscosmos appeared to admit that Russia's Luna-25 mission failed as it couldn't replace Western tech.
The company said the unmanned spacecraft Luna-25, which was expected to land on the South Pole of the moon on August 21, spun out of control and crashed into the moon's surface on August 19 due to a malfunction in the probe's control unit.
Russia has struggled to replace some of the sophisticated technology it imported from the West, such as microchips, since it was hit with unprecedented sanctions over the invasion of Ukraine...

Items of note:
1) Russia clearly is not communist. If they were, they would not care about lost sales outside Russia, but note that these are somewhat minor since for most of the last 15 years the world has depended on Russia’s excellent launch vehicles.
2) Space is hard. Failures in space measure nothing other than space being difficult. Note Japan’s upside down lander and the US lander that wound up sideways. Space is hard. It has nothing to do with what tech you have.
3) If you are not privately owned (like most Russia companies) then your central bank can print up money and give it to you. That would be done for Roscosmos if they were not mostly private. It was certainly done for GM and most US banks from 2008 onwards. This is more important than any other single matter. The US creates bytes, Russia creates joules.
Good thing Biden re-started the Cold War. Now the Russians will have to rebuild their economy to make it independent of Eurabia.
This is the country that is going to put nukes in space?
Items of note:
The ruble is off 40-50% and he raised rates to 16% to lure in hard currency to stem the losses.
This is more significant than any other single matter.
Exactly:
The contradictory narratives are classic brainwashing.
Proposition 1: Russia is so powerful and dangerous that they are going to over-run Europe and rain nuclear war on the US.
Proposition 2: Putin is dead or dying or politically weak. Russia is collapsing from within. The Russian economy is dead.
The Deep State can’t get their lies straight.
As for the truth, who knows...
In the bunker, General Dvoretskiy pointed to communications equipment and large computer servers, some of which were financed by the C.I.A. He said his teams were using the base to hack into the Russian military’s secure communications networks.
Beyond the base, the C.I.A. also oversaw a training program, carried out in two European cities, to teach Ukrainian intelligence officers how to convincingly assume fake personas and steal secrets in Russia and other countries that are adept at rooting out spies.
At the time, the future head of Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, General Budanov, was a rising star in Unit 2245. He was known for daring operations behind enemy lines and had deep ties to the C.I.A. The agency had trained him and also taken the extraordinary step of sending him for rehabilitation to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland after he was shot in the right arm during fighting in the Donbas."

SOOOO. I guess the Russian invasion of Ukraine WAS provoked after all.
Unsurprisingly, you ignore our very own problem, in which our spacecraft fell on its side.
Russia BAD BAD BAD. Everyone else GOOD GOOD GOOD.
Luna-25 failed because Russia couldn’t get the technology, which was sanctioned
So, the sanctions are working
Oh heavens no.
The Ruble is “off” means it has a number defined by trading on exchanges located in US and UK, i.e., hostile countries. Why would you think that trading is not government defined?
This means nothing compared to the production of actual joules.
What about the Ukrainians losses on the front cuck-canuck? Why is it going west?
FREEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!!
(((PING!)))
Join and laugh at the humor Zeepers provide!!
Oh heavens YES-it’s been freely traded on the same exchanges for quite a while.
and when it was up the first half of the invasion -they forgot the fix was in.
16% for hard currency means there is no need for any of the above reply and also prime reason to sell assets.
“Luna-25 failed because Russia couldn’t get the technology, which was sanctioned
So, the sanctions are working”
Until Russia starts manufacturing their own parts which they are doing more and more every day. All the sanctions did was pull out our own colonizing western corporations that were just itching to extract Russian wealth and tranny up Russian children.
>So, you must mean that space is hard for Russia, but not other countries
Why doesn’t Canada have a rocket program?

You got a few km on one small section of the front, the rest hasn’t moved in a year
bfd
at this rate, it’ll take 400 years for Russia to take Ukraine

That sounds like something Hitler would have said about the Russians in 1942. I hope you have your bunker ready..
