I watched much of the hearing today in Fulton County.

The judge was very good. The witness was eviscerated.

Try as he might, the fact is that there is a circle of liars about when Willis-Wade began their affair, including Willis-Wade.

This on top of past testimony about the use of cash (intended to prevent tracking), the number of and dates of their dalliances, and the effort to change the timeline to coverup Willis hiring Wade when they were having an affair.

And this is only the beginning.

The White House and the DA's office were in communication. And now there's a report that an operative was planted in the DA's office by the White House.

The ‘degree’ is really irrelevant save for the fact that the education it represents SHOULD enable one to pass the Georgia Bar exam. That’s the license...

he claimed based on having observed hundreds of witnesses in his time, to be able to spot deception and a liar almost immediately. He said it matured on him like a sixth sense. I can’t help but think that the Atlanta judge is as capable of spotting the BS being peddled in the Willis/Wade Fulton County hearing.

After I first posted the work histories of the judge and Fani Willis side-by-side last week, some people asked why McAfee was appointed by Kempt to be Inspector General after Kemp appointed him to be assistant United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia just two years earlier.

I've been thinking about that and I'm concluding that organizations identify "high potential" people and rotate them through different parts of the organization early in their career so they can get a diverse work experience in different parts of the business operations.

It's possible that McAffee is one such person (I suggested he was being fast-tracked based on his career progression relative to Willis') and that time in the Inspector General position would also help McAfee hone his BS detector as state whistleblowers file claims against other state agencies.

After a year in the IG position, Kemp appointed McAfee to fill a vacancy on the Fulton County Superior Court where he is now. Yes, McAfee has to run for a full term on the court, but I suspect that if McAfee fails to win reelection, Kemp will find some other position for McAfee in state government.

This judge has to get re-elected in a majority minority county. You think he is on the bench for being tough?

I have watched all the trial, and I agree with you that he has been threatened, once by someone who he knew from being in the same “fraternity”, but in a different college than his - a telephone threat, I think, about “priviledge”...

And, then when the female atty, last name is Cross, laid on Bradley allegations of sexually abusing a woman in the office, then maybe a client...

And, I watched his face during this. My impression was that he was in total surprise and shock, and if you can go back and find that part of the proceeding, see if you don’t think this is “warning him” that he will be prosecuted for the above if he doesn’t suddenly have a total memory collapse of anything that could
incriminate Ward and Fani, both of whome are guilty as hell.

I think the only thing Bradley is guilty of is getting involved with these two, and being trapped into this mess by them. But, I could be wrong. They are both corrupt as hell, and liars to boot, an dont care about the law, our Constitution, or our system of justice.

Yes I was pleasantly surprised about the judge after his ignoring Fanny’s behavior...

I disagree. Silence constitutes agreement in legal terms. He should have threatened her with contempt of court if she continued her rude, arrogant , dismissive, uncontrolled, racist tirade.

I figured he was totally surprised by Fani’s behavior, and her calling the other female lawyer, Ashleigh?, a liar several times in an outburst...

At that point, the shock in the courtroom was palpable. The Judge immediatly called a halt to the proceeding, and went to a recess. I guess that he read her the riot act in that recess, and told her to stop her behavior or else.

At least that is what I was expecting and hoping. I assumed something like this because she seemed a bit less hostile and offensive to the court after that recess.

Actually, he's on the bench because he was appointed by the Governor to fill a vacancy. He will be facing his first election in November.

What will be interesting with voters is that McAfee would not be removing Willis as District Attorney (he can't do that), he would only be disqualifying her from the case for conflict-of-interest. Unless the black voters of Atlanta hate President Trump, they may not be so harsh on McAfee as Willis will stay as the District Attorney no matter what McAfee rules.

I think he did. He stopped the proceedings and called the lawyers into his chambers for a ten-minute discussion before resuming the testimony.

I think the best question was from one of the last attorneys who asked, “In all your communications with Ashleigh Merchant, did he ever use the word speculation? He had to answer, “No”. .... Game, set, match.

I didn't watch the testimony and don't know Ashleigh Merchants or his/her role in this case. Could you better explain why the question and answer means ...Game, set, match? Thanks!

” I can’t help but think that the Atlanta judge is as capable of spotting the BS being peddled”

Plus, hasn’t the Judge seen ALL of the texts that (allegedly) were privileged? He knows the score.

Spend much time in court? He certainly could have done that with this official and given her a couple weeks to whine about her victim hood, or he could just eviscerate her in his decision without ever even mentioning her courtroom demeanor

The witness did the job the State wanted him to do: stonewall, pretend to know nothing about Willis and Wade, plead poor memory, etc. They wanted him to completely wreck his own credibility so that nothing he said to Ms. Merchant, in court, or anywhere ever can be credited.

What do they have on Bradley that was worth destroying himself personally and professionally? Must be something even worse than that. Rape charges? Death squad? His mama held hostage in a barn somewhere?

The State believes a lack of absolute proof that the W-W affair began before Wade was hired will save them legally. Unfortunately for them, their scorched earth campaign to suppress the truth put the “appearance of corruption” in everyone’s face front and center.

McAfee can save the County million$ and all concerned from much further embarrassment by dismissing Willis, Wade, and the entire corrupt case now.
