JUST IN - U.S. is tracking an unidentified high-altitude balloon over the Western part of the country — CBS
Off topic, but yeah. Marilyn McCoo is very beautiful.
ADS-B is only going to show crafts with active transponders. No transponder, then no tracking via ADS-B.
Looks to me that those 4 US balloons are stationed along our border with Mexico. Probably gathering real-time intel, to be passed along to the cartels so they know when and where it is safe to cross.
I though that was 'Virginity is a bubble on the river of life, one prick and it's gone forever...'
Not since the dawning of the age of Aquarius...
"The balloons are so light that the Federal Aviation Administration doesn’t regulate them and doesn’t require balloonists to file flight plans, Medlin said. He inflates his balloons with enough hydrogen to ensure they’ll fly at about 50,000 feet. That is well above most commercial aircraft, he said.
The balloons carry solar-powered transmitters that weigh less than 2 grams and that broadcast a signal every 10 minutes or so that ham radio operators around the world can use to track the balloons’ locations, he said. He has a balloon up right now that’s been in the air for 250 days and has circled the globe 10 times, he said."
nice. great music.
Before it completes its mission?
This is merely the delivery of more gas to supply this criminal administration’s constant gaslighting.
Cartel balloons.
So riddle me this. Why doesn’t said organization deploying this harmless balloon report its tracking? Certainly they need to know the location for accuracy right? They could give advance notice to whichever government organization is monitoring our airspace. But let’s waste thousands of dollars to go investigate it. They could just look at satellite images as well. Makes ya wonder.
Why hasn’t our government immediately shot it down? God help our feckless government!
“99 Red Balloons, floating in the summer sky.”
Another High School science project doomed to be shutdown by a sidewinder missile?
All four along the US/Mexico border. My guess is not
so much for land observance but rather aerial.
“Since the 1980s, we’ve been able to shoot down satellites using a missile launched from an F-15”
Long been inactive. Any missiles left are too old.
May have been a follow on, but original program is long dead.
Dropping ordnance for the hundreds of thousands of Chinese soldiers who crossed our southern border as civilians.
When satellite imaging isn’t clear enough...
Probably just those goofballs at Skinwalker Ranch looking for the alien spaceship base under their mesa.
What would have been Rush’s theme song for updates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKkNlwpajNk
