And make sure you understand, the *ONLY* purpose of this was to get at that source information, so the Government KGB agents that ordered CBS to do this can plan retaliation against these people who dared convey information regarding how corrupt is Biden and his family.
I definitely understand the desire to protect sources. It is basically the number one priority of any journalist, and even investigators in law and law enforcement, because you will never have any credibility and you wont develop new sources of information if people know you hang them out to dry.
However, I wonder if it isn’t more of a gray area when you are talking about all of their actual work.
All this talk about "work product" is just a diversion. The *THING* the government agents want are those sources. None of that other crap matters to them, but stopping people from informing on or testifying against the Biden crime family is the only thing they want.
The apparent failure is own her.
Yeah, she trusted her employer, not realizing that when the corrupt government leans on them, they will do whatever the corrupt government tells them to do.

Same here; I worked in the defense industry all my life.
Every defense company I worked for had that kind of clause, and I remember thinking “if I design a better mousetrap, they want to own THAT, when their products are fighter jets and tanks ??!!??
Needless to say, I was too busy working and going to school to get my degree, to have time to design anything.
