Weeks before the trial started, Judge Engoron ruled that President Trump inflated his assets to get better loans.

If true, then exactly who was harmed here? The banks? Nope, they were paid back with interest. How about the State? Nope, they were not out any money at all.

But now Engoron the Moron, pervert that he is, is trying to steal 355 Million.

Gee, do you think that maybe the Judge or AG rounded up their earnings and net worth on their mortgage application?

Pray for this man. What these state bastards are doing to him is unconscionable and illegal. This is not justice.

FTA

snip

“It is unusual, and that’s one of the issues here,” said white collar defense attorney Paul DerOhannesian. We haven’t really seen this type of proceeding before against a very large New York business.”

Syracuse University law professor Gregory Germain told Reuters that the “attorney general’s job is to protect people who can’t protect themselves,” adding that “we’re dealing with very sophisticated lenders who are fully capable of protecting themselves and haven’t asked the attorney general for help.”

“I think the judges are going to have to look carefully at what the powers of the attorney general are here,” Mr. Germain said. “Are they so broad that any lie can put you out of business, even if nobody believed it?”

There have been warnings that businesses may not want to operate out of New York state, leading to a downturn in the state’s economy. That prompted Gov. Kathy Hochul to try and reassure businesses that they have “nothing to worry about” after the ruling.

I well remember how Obama used his well connected Chicago friends to get him a house with easy financing. That’s OK but Trump can’t finagle a good deal for himself?

There are probably at least a dozen illegalities committed against trump in this sham indictment and trial.

Trump needs to bring everyone of them up on appeal. Not just pick one. Why would anyone just pick one. That is stupid.

I think it was on Watter’s World that they revealed that
there’s a vacant lot near Mara Lago that is going for
$200 million, and other properties with much less
infrastructure going for $400-$500 million.

That $28 million evaluation reveals a lot about the judge.

Aside from all the other theater, technically this case is a demonstration of the state blatantly violating the 5th Amendment.

The judge in this case ruled against Trump via summary judgment

The thought that a judge can rule on any complex fraud case via summary judgment is total absurdity.

Fraud cases in general are extremely difficult and complex cases to try, even if there is obvious criminal conduct because you have to prove an individuals willful intent to commit fraud.

It's very common to get criminal conviction but not prove the fraud component

In this case the Judge has defied all legal precedents by convicting on fraud when there was no criminal or illegal conduct or even the slightest hint of any attempts to commit fraud by anyone in the Trump organization.

In the specific case of Trump, it's simply not possible to dispose of the case via summary judgment under any circumstances

I promise, every day all over this country, banks and second loan mortgage companies are giving 2nd mortgage loans based on 120% of the first mortgage appraisal which is overvalued in order to make the loan.

There was no indictment in this case; it is a civil proceeding.
