President Joe Biden plans to introduce a resolution at the United Nations Security Council calling for a temporary “ceasefire” and demanding Israel refrain from conducting an attack on the last Hamas battalions in Gaza that are the key to winning the war.
Israel has been adamant that it must attack Hamas in Rafah, a city in southern Gaza on the Egyptian border, to win the war. Rafah is the last stronghold of the Palestinian terror organization, and also the key to smuggling routes into and out of Gaza.
The White House has said publicly that it would not support an attack on Rafah, at least without an evacuation of civilians. Even after Israel promised to develop a plan to evacuate civilians, the Biden administration has opposed an Israeli operation in Gaza.

Everyone who proposes a cease fire needs to be given a shovel and told to find 3 tunnels, first!
It’s already in the cards, Israel is about to get the Ukraine treatment from DC. Once Netanyahu is finally talked completely out on the limb of attacking Hezbollah, DC will saw the limb off by not being able to physically deliver the moon as promised. The fools in the Pentagon can’t be trusted to have thought this through. What if Lebanon becomes a war of attrition? The same Pentagon generals never gave a thought to the scenario of such a war in Ukraine. Look at the catastrophic results of that shortsightedness now. The Israelis are fools if they gamble their county’s fate on the promises of Uniparty, DC.

Politics-
—The Arab and Muslim population in the US is substantial at this point, and they vote.
—Some of our allies in that region, i.e. Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt have some political clout in Washington.
—Muslims are very much so represented in the traditional MSM.
None of this has anything to do with the merits of the arguments:
—We will cause and stand by a war in Ukraine where we have no agreements, where we did provoke this conflict, where Ukraine is not a true democracy, sovereign and has a horrible human rights record, a corrupt nation where much of what we pump into that place is simply disappearing.
—And we will abandon Israel where the attack was unprovoked, which actually is sovereign, a democracy, and with whom we have three security agreements and a SOFA, that has a semblence of government accountability and a basic law (but they don’t call it a Constitution).
It just boils down to politics and what course of action benefits the administration most.
To bad for Israel.
Will the Jewish vote change in 2024? Nope! They apparently like being victims.
This was expected as soon as the Hamas attack became public - Israel only had a finite amount of time to retaliate and neutralize Hamas before Biden and Blinken started pushing for a cease-fire. Israel has been on the clock ever since then - hopefully they can resist the cease-fire calls long enough to set Hamas back long enough to earn a decade of peace. With Democrats and RINOs infesting our government, they can’t possibly expect the freedom to actually wipe Hamas out.
