The judge who presided over a civil business fraud trial against Donald Trump and his company has issued his decision in the case.
Judge Arthur Engoron ordered the former president and the Trump Organization to pay over $364 million in damages, and bars Trump "from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation or other legal entity in New York for a period of three years."
The judgment is the second this year against Trump after he was hit last month with an $83.3 million verdict in writer E. Jean Carroll's defamation case against him. The former president could also face four criminal trials this year as his presidential campaign barrels toward the November election, with the first set to begin in New York state court on March 25th.
New York Attorney General Letitia James had been seeking $370 million from Trump, his company and its top executives, including his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, alleging "repeated and persistent fraud" that included falsifying business records and financial statements. James had argued those financial statements were at times exaggerated by as much as $2.2 billion.

You can take away someone’s livelihood if you say it’s to “save democracy”.
As my aunt used to say: "They work wonders, and shit blunders.

It all:
“We are having a non-jury trial because we are hearing a non-jury case,” Engoron said. “It would have not helped to make a motion. Nobody forgot to check off a box.”
To appeal he will either have to come up with the cash that will be tied up for the duration of the appeals process or get a surety bond. Can he afford either?

They see Trump as “Hitler”.
Wouldn’t you shoot Hitler if you had the chance?
Par for the course?
“NEVER FORGET: The judge who fined Donald Trump $364 million laughed, smiled and smirked for the camera in court.
This isn’t about “justice” — These people are openly celebrating what they’re doing.
Disgusting.” (Video)

Your source for that?
He had a right to request a jury trial. If Engoron had refused it, that would have been grounds for appeal in itself.
Texas will be sending ALL of their illegals to New York, which means 10,000 per day. Good luck New York!
Both things appear to be true.

I know better than to argue with retards who are unaware that the “justice” system has been completely corrupted and weaponized.
You’ll figure it out when somebody in your family is murdered by somebody who should have been in prison, but wasn’t.
President Trump has an amazing history of coming back from mind-boggling financial disasters.
I would never bet against him.

Thanks for the encouraging post.
President Trump is expected to hold a press conference in the next couple of hours. Can’t wait to hear what he has to say.
Let’s consider this: Trump is currently 77 years old and has been ordered to pay $364 million. Assuming he lives until 97, he could allocate $18.2 million annually towards legal fees to delay the court process. The question then arises: does New York have the financial capacity to spend $18.2 million each year on legal expenses?
I wish i saw this judge walking down the street- i really do!!!
Don Jr. & Eric are barred as well.
After Trump gets his relief we expect from the appeals process, I hope he pulls all of his businesses out of New York - totally. And then forbid any of his family and employees to do business there. He can do just as well if not better elsewhere.
