GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley again slammed former President Trump for his comments mocking her deployed husband, saying a “rogue golf ball” is the closest the former president has ever come to combat.
“The closest Donald Trump has ever come to harm’s way is a rogue golf ball hitting his cart. It’s not surprising that he doesn’t understand the sacrifices made by those in uniform,” Haley wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Trump took aim at Haley’s husband, who was deployed to Africa in June with the South Carolina Army National Guard, for not being on the campaign trail with Haley at a Saturday rally in South Carolina.

It's their bread and butter. Without conflicts, how would these neocons enrich themselves? Who would they sell to? Their contracts would dry up. Peace isn't profitable.
>> Great as his wife and First Lady, involved as Mother to their son Baron, making their Florida home great and their WH home great and attending official functions in her official role.
All that — plus I am convinced that Mrs. Trump spends much time in prayer, for her husband AND for US.
Another day, another idiotic statement by Nikki or whatever her name is.
And how close has SHE come?
Playing the “girl” card.
Trump was the 45th President of the United States and will win on November 5th. Trump is very important for the future of America, while Haley & her husband are not.
Furthermore, you can dress both Haley’s up in military uniforms, hand them both M-16s and have them charge an enemy position.
Hopefully, a machine gun nest so we can improve the country “one loss at a time.” (improvement through subtraction)
WHY are So Carolina NG troops in AFRICA in the first place??
I wonder how many here on FR know what the reference to Audie Murphy means??
Brian Williams was there to report it so it must be true.
Good question.
Re: 71 - If he wanted to serve (e.g. in a support position), I’m sure he could have.
It’s one of the main reasons that medical waiver review boards consider waivers to serve.
McCain was a piece of sh*t that squealed like a pig when captured, yet ran as a war hero. Serving doesn’t bestow sainthood. Plenty of my fellow veterans are less than great people, and plenty of them are as good as can be. Trump has more than served his country, by going through constant plots and ploys to destroy him, on our behalf. He didn’t need this crap, but he loves America.
Except that’s not what President Trump was referring to when he made his comment.
And I have not said that serving bestows sainthood, nor should it.
Must’ve been mustard gas because he’s basically baloney.
Serving in the US military is not the same as it was even as little as 10 years ago.
Now it’s a woke globalist organization. True patriots reject a government and military that is subservient to the emerging one world order beast system.
Unless we get a leader that puts individual American interest first, there’s no point in supporting the US military.
Right now we have a Vichy France government collaborating with globalist and Chinese masters.
BTTT!!!
Unfortunately, her mindless, relentless perserverance in attacking Trump only makes her look more clueless every day, as it causes damage to the Republican Party this fall and permanent damage to any political future she may have hoped for.
