I want two questions answered (in my dreams, I know..) 1) What legislation authorized this expenditure and what were the roll call votes? and B) With this “Free Money” what is the NYS Department of Labor going to do with their initiative to get “Work Permits” for these ILLEGAL ALIENS? Debit makes it even worse, that just means they don’t have to pay it back.
The message remains the same whether it is. CRedit cards or debit: “Break our laws and we will pay you a ton of money and help you continue breaking our laws”
And every bodega and ethnic quick store will be taking those EBT debit cards for ‘designated’ goods and trading them for anything the slag wants.

It is difficult to force banks to extend credit to people who have no verifiable form of ID and no permanent address. I suspect that this is the reason that banks have closed so many branch offices. .
