President Joe Biden took to the microphone for an unannounced address on Thursday night, following the release of the politically devastating Special Counsel report that said he "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen." While the report stated that such actions "present serious risks to national security,” Biden will not face charges because he presents himself as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and it would be difficult to convince a jury he is guilty of a serious felony because to commit such a crime “requires a mental state of willfulness.” The report elaborated by pointing out he couldn’t even remember when he was vice president and didn’t even remember when his son Beau died.
The address was scheduled for 7:45 p.m. but did not actually get underway until around 8 — well past his usual 7 p.m. bedtime.
I can't explain how or why Biden's handlers felt it was a good idea to trot him out at night to talk about the special counsel report, but it did not go well. He was belligerent and defensive, and it was a terrible look. When he addressed the report claiming that he couldn't remember when his son died, it really got bad.
"How in the hell dare he raise that," Biden said angrily, concluding that it is "none of their damn business."
"For any extraneous commentary, they don't know what they're talking about," Biden insisted, even though the report presented direct quotes. "It has no place in this report."
Biden also blamed his staff for storing classified documents in his home, office, and garage, insisting, "I take responsibility for not having seen exactly what my staff would do!"

In a variety of ways Hur reveals that he was not even acting as a lawyer, but as a coverup artist. His conclusory statements make no sense, looked at objectively. Hur’s problem was that he was hired to defend the indefensible and the law provided no cover.
Sure, Biden was a physical wreck and a likable forgetful old codger who DID NOT even know
he had classified documents that could help his cokehead son do lucrative influence-peddling deals.
But that was BEFORE he suited up for his 2024 campaign.
Today, Biden is a “trusted beacon of Democrat leadership.”
Future back and forth between the press secretary and cetain reporters will be interesting in the future.

In all seriousness I hope he does run... his gaffs, although profoundly sad in many ways, will resound for decades, and the DNC along with this administation will deny and hold to obfuscated pressers while frantically plugging holes in the narrative. They messed up, they hoodwinked, they deny. Pelosi is in the same catagory. The DNC needs to start remiving the aged buffoonery in their midst.
But have NO DOUBT another tactic against Trump is being developed and the leftist will use it to call his age into question. Maybe this will become the deadwood revolution and all the doddering old wood will silently leave positions of power. Clean House! And Senate too!
Imagine the Rogue’s gallery of old fools removed past and present. My ears will appreciated not being subject to that clinging insistence that they wish to remain germaine... absolute power...
At this point, you have to believe that the only reason she married him in the first place was to get close to power (I know, not exactly a rare event in D.C.). That would explain why she continues to let him go on with this pathetic charade. She doesn’t care one bit about him, only that the Biden family, especially she herself, hangs onto power as long as possible. Of course, Joe hasn’t been any better the way that he has shamelessly exploited the corpses of his son and former wife for political gain. The Bidens are a family of sleazeballs and criminals.

Yes, he should either step down or be removed via the 25th. I’m sad about this but it will be for the good of the country even if Kamala is also a train wreck.
I propose a West Texas County jury. All would have a common sense DNA and would have no problem finding Biden “fit” to stand trial given his actions over recent years and his life.

He reminds me of an old man I knew growing up. He lived down my street and sat outside all day staring into space. He was nothing but a grouch, shouting at us kids all the time for nothing at all. If a ball rolled into his yard, we dared not go get it! Eventually, his wife would come out and get him, carefully leading him back into the house.
