I’ve thought from the beginning that it would be 7-2, now after today, I too am leaning to 9-0.

The bearing of that case on this one would depend on what the court ruled.
I am not familiar with the ruling and it would be interesting to read the decision.
Since Cleaver was no eligible, but allowed to stay on the ballot, one could easily think that the decision to remove is not up to the individual states, but to Congress. If that was the decision, then there is definite relevance to the Trump v Colorado case.

I’m afraid most black students are too indoctrinated to give fair consideration a distinguished jurist who raised himself out of poverty to the highest court in the most powerful country in history. His success outside the sports and entertainment worlds is widely regarded by blacks as making him ‘too white’, and they and their leftist wine mom crowd uses words like ‘race-traitor’ and Uncle Tom whenever they refer to him as a matter of course. Most students stop there, and are too facile and weak minded to think any of it through.

Good post.
Yes, the indoctrination runs deep and prevents them from discerning or thinking for themselves. “Group Think” rules.

It bears in this regard: They said that even if a candidate is ineligible to hold office, people have a right to vote for him or not. But the states don’t get to add qualifications. Like in the case where they said states cannot term limit Federal officeholders, or bar them from the ballot.

I remember watching his confirmation hearings and thinking, who's this complete racist asshat grilling him for political points and when I first became acquainted with what a lowlife POS mental midget Joe Biden really is....

Strange since the Constitution puts a hard minimum age to hold the office of president. He could run, but he could not take the office.

I wish it weren't the irony that is brutal. Unfortunately, irony is one of the things that Leftists have the thickest and most impenetrable armor against. Another thing that cannot penetrate their armor is rationality. It just won't get through.
But...there is one thing that DOES pierce that armor, and it makes them hopping mad: Ridicule.
They absolutely cannot take it. That is why THIS is one of my favorite images I have seen in a while, and I post it whenever the time is right...like now!
