Tucker Carlson claims he's interviewing Vladimir Putin because 'Americans are not informed' about the war in Ukraine - despite 'paying for it in ways they don't understand'

Tucker Carlson has confirmed he is in Moscow to interview Vladimir Putin - and he's doing it because 'Americans are not informed' about the war in Ukraine.

The former Fox News host announced on X on Tuesday that he would be publishing an interview with the Russian despot, following widespread speculation after he was pictured leaving the Kremlin in Moscow on Monday.

Carlson, 54, said the interview would air 'unedited' on his website, without a paywall, and on X, making him the first American to interview Putin since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

'Two years into a war that's reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed,' the conservative commentator said of the conflict in Ukraine. 'They have no real idea what's happening in this region. But they should know, they're paying for much of it in ways they might not fully perceive.'

There you go again. Quit trying to usurp the authority from this site’s owner. You have repeatedly acted out as though you get to decide what gets posted and it is usually based upon whether they agree with you.

Tucker long ago gave up any pretense of fact based journalism. He’s an entertainer who spoon feeds pablum to the weak minded and easily duped.

Because that's where the money is.

There is some truth in that. NK is definitely hardcore commie. Cuba is still commie, but is easing its crushing tentacles somewhat when it comes to very small mom-and-pop businesses. Laos is still commie, and while private ownership of land is prohibited, there is what is known as “land-use rights” which allow for people to occupy land, and even transfer that land-use right to another; but the state is the legal and ultimate owner of the land. Vietnam is somewhat similar to Laos. China is commie, but with definite fascist elements.

OK, I'll enjoy your pain.

It's not painful. It's funny. Like 19th century parents would take their kids to watch Bedlam.

Yeah I left those out. My mistake, leaving Cuba out was a big blunder. You could also argue Venezuela is headed in the opposite direction.

Nonsense. All we see here, even on these pages are a hugely lopsided view of Zeeperland. Finger wagging and ENDLESS monetized YT links so numerous even the poster doesn’t have time to read and understand them.

As for the Kleenx, it’s better to be use for that instead of like a roll of Charmin Zelenskyyyyy does with the West.

Goodness you appear a fool. Whatever you think of Putin or Carlson, why would you not want to see and hear an interview? And make up your mind after you see it - not before.

Unless you simply follow what the state tells you, which is dismiss journalists interviewing world leaders unless they adhere to the state’s narrative.

The transcript speaks for itself.

Remarkable.

A Russian Premiere is more crisp, lucid and forthwith than any American politico. Most of his statements are spot on and none are outrageous.

The softly sardonic Slavic humor casts a special shade.

Why isn’t Russia in NATO (if the world even needs a NATO)? Our Mandarin Overlords have pushed them away for 20 years.

Why should we borrow hundreds of billions to secure Ukraine borders when our borders are overrun?

There’s good money in monetized YTs about Ukraine all over the network, too.

Oh, I’ll stay, because as Rush used to say, “I AM equal time”.<

No, what Rush used to say to people like you is, “You’re a seminar caller.”

I’m old, as well.

I grew up in a house full of books. I have lived with books my entire life. I still have a few thousand volumes.
I also go to my local library every week or so. I’ve lived with the adages, “My books take me where my heart and mind want to go;” and “So many books; so little time.”

I mentioned Mencken as an example of a journalist on an earlier post. He started out as a reporter, but then became more of a journalist as he developed his craft and inserted his acerbic wit into his work. Great writer, Mencken.

You mentioned Shirer. Again, someone who started out as a reporter but morphed into more of a journalist. I’ve read his books. Good reads.

There are many others.

The best? Mark Twain.

Reporting went from the essential Who, When, What, Where, Why, and How to the more personal, wherein the writer introduced him- or herself into the story. That encouraged the move away from reporting and towards chronicling and then journalism, and editorializing as the most offensive.

I like reading authors who can write well and tell a good story (and history can be told through the pen of a creative writer far better than it can through the pen scratches of a mere reporter of facts).

Even a lying dictator who longs for the old Soviet Union has motivations. I’d like to hear what they are directly from him, rather than MSM supposition. I don’t see either side as being right in this conflict, but it’s astounding that after two years you never hear anyone calling for peace talks. The stalemate is just a meat grinder.

“He’s there with an agenda — to expose the truth about the Biden regime and its failed strategy to conduct and continue a proxy war and sanction war with Russia that BEEN THE BIGGEST FOREIGN POLICY FAILURE since Vietnam.
Only those that fear the truth coming out would attack a journalist trying to get both sides of a story.

You and your fellow Zeeper despise free speech. You know damn well the propaganda being put out by the Biden regime and Deep State won’t hold up with the truth about this war is suppressed.

You’re as much the enemy as any leftist.”

Wow your English abilities are shining through!

Did you really finish last in your FSB English class?

“So many books; so little time.”

And so little space in my cramped old farmhouse to STORE them all. I’ve had to resort to boxing the least interesting ones up and taking them to my lockup. Then of course I want one of them, and I buy a new copy rather than dig through the boxes.... So it goes.

Yes, I like Mencken. I’m on the fence about calling him a journalist, because he published everything as soon as he wrote it. But I roundly approve of his opinions.

I just this week had my yearly eye exam. Thank God they’re still good, even as the rest of me falls apart. If I can’t read I’ll be suicidal in a week.

Oh look - some chickenhawk trashbag is calling actual US vets and patriots the "enemy."

GTFO FR - WEF sniveler. Then sit on something sharp and just spin.

But you'll off FR - like pre-2020. One less Uke harpy stinking up the board.

Win-win.
