Tucker Carlson claims he's interviewing Vladimir Putin because 'Americans are not informed' about the war in Ukraine - despite 'paying for it in ways they don't understand'

Tucker Carlson has confirmed he is in Moscow to interview Vladimir Putin - and he's doing it because 'Americans are not informed' about the war in Ukraine.

The former Fox News host announced on X on Tuesday that he would be publishing an interview with the Russian despot, following widespread speculation after he was pictured leaving the Kremlin in Moscow on Monday.

Carlson, 54, said the interview would air 'unedited' on his website, without a paywall, and on X, making him the first American to interview Putin since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

'Two years into a war that's reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed,' the conservative commentator said of the conflict in Ukraine. 'They have no real idea what's happening in this region. But they should know, they're paying for much of it in ways they might not fully perceive.'

Oh, and Putin is going to correctly “inform” us??? ROFWL

It was one thing for Tucker to oppose handing Ukraine asssitance without accountability or a clear strategy.

It’s quite another to intentionally help the dictator Putin sell his propoganda narrative.

Really PRC seems more to fit the bill of National Socialism more then “communist”. They are almost classic nazi complete with the racism.
And it’s tragic, but communism is far more influential in DC than in Moscow where it is truly gadfly.

You perfectly described the two party system.

The Founders disliked parties and called them “passions”.

I used to be with you, until Covid. Covid changed everything, because it was so full of BS.

If they are willing to lie about a genetically-engineered virus, the danger it presents, and that off use drugs are dangerous and not effective against the virus, then what else are they lying about?

Turns out, just about everything.

The truth is, Tucker went to Russia to report on the gigantic egg situation.

“Oh, we get the enemy view all right. Right here on FR, every day.”

Sadly, this i true.

If you don't like FR so much you should get off it.

I notice a LOT of 2020 signups have issues with seeing both sides of the equation.

You can claim whatever you want, Frick (aka Mrs. Frack); but Carlson is not a reporter, and never has been. He’s a TV journalist and commentator. Just as Sean Hannity is not a reporter, and never has been: He’s a TV and radio commentator.

Now, Frick (aka Mrs. Frack): Answer my previously posed questions.

Oh, I disagree. A REPORTER seeks to inform facts, not editorialize or entertain. A JOURNALIST may employ facts, but his or her main objective is to influence;

I suppose it's because I'm old, and was educated by reading rather than by watching screens. A journalist was someone like Samuel Pepys who kept a diary to be published after the fact, providing a retrospective on events they lived through. William Shirer, despite being a reporter, was a journalist; you can see it in his books, especially Berlin Diary. Ed Murrow I'm not so sure.

But now the word "journalist" has been turned upside down, like the word "liberal". "Journalists" now publish before they've even finished thinking. I really like the new word "influencers", because that's what they are. They call themselves journalists so as to bask in the reflected legitimacy of their betters.

nb: I still don't watch screens. Haven't had a TV since 1977. Don't have the bandwidth (or the patience) to run Utoob videos. Nearest I get to social media is FR. I'm the poor slob who's read lots of history, and is now condemned to watch helplessly while the ignorati repeat it.

Tucker has just done more political reporting than all the corporatist twits on the planet. Isn’t it beautiful?

He can interview who he wants but on this issue and all foreign policy issues, Tucker is a stone cold kook.

You forgot about all the applause and buttlicking from the world media for your boy Zelensky who is al;so responsible for thousnds being killed. Before the war began he also was responsible for numerous killings of Russian speaking people in his own country. He is a greedy and bad person.
