Ann Coulter Breaks Down Why Trump Can’t Beat Biden and ‘Trump Voters Are Morons’

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter expressed her frustration with Republican Trump voters over the weekend and made the case for why she doesn’t believe the former president can beat President Joe Biden in a general election.

“How many people who voted for Biden in 2020 have since switched to Trump?” Coulter asked on X/Twitter before breaking down the electoral math as she sees it:

1) those who voted for Trump but who’ve since died (older white people);

2) immigrants who turned 18 in the last 4 yrs and will vote (minorities);

3) Republicans who voted for Trump in 2020, but have since changed their minds over, e.g. his behavior in the GA runoffs, and the 2022 “red wave” —

… losing election after election for the GOP by demanding that Republicans run on the “stolen 2020 election,” e.g. Blake Masters, Kari Lake, Doug Mastriano, Adam Laxalt, Don Bolduc, Joe Kent, etc.

Coulter dropped her analysis just ahead of the Iowa Republican caucus, in which Trump is expected to win by a wide, if not historic, margin. The last Des Moines Register poll ahead of voting showed Trump with 48 percent support, while Nikki Haley is in second place with 20 percent. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was trailing in third place with 16 percent support.

Coulter followed that thread up a few hours later with another post, writing:

Coulter has broken with Trump in recent years, citing his failure to achieve meaningful immigration reform as the breaking point. The bombastic commentator was once such a big fan and booster of Trump that in August of 2016 she published a book titled, In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!

She blames Trump for “not building the wall,” which isn’t exactly true. She seems to forget he was stymied by the Deep State since November 2016 in an attempt to bring him down. He’s also not a dictator. He has to rely on the snakes in Congress to craft his ideas into bills and then pass them so he can sign them into law. She’s either not that bright or she’s deliberately lying to us.

She’s showing just how big a fraud she is along with the rest of Conservative Inc. From 1989 to 2017 Conservative Inc. could write articles, give speeches in person, on tv or radio and make bold statements about conservative policies and how they should and could be implemented for the betterment of America and the world.

Then along comes Trump who is no conservative but leans that way making many of the same promises and she breaks out her pomp-pomp’s and starts the usual rah-rah, we’re going to do this and that under Trump and Trump actually wins. Then to Conservative Inc’s horror he starts implementing many of their 30 year old campaign promises instead of making excuses why it can’t happen and their true liberal colors begin to show. How dare he do such things, he isn’t one of us. Ann is like Kristol, Hannity, Will and the rest of Conservative Inc. she got a good paycheck shoveling a pack of lies for 30 years and Trump tore that little play house down and Conservative Inc has their collective panties in a wad.

Pretty wild how she's gone off the rails. She wrote a string of great books -- books that seemed to be from the heart. One of them was an incisive debunking of all the BS about Joe McCarthy. It was basically a digest of M. Stanton Evans' Blacklisted By History, a much lengthier book. She did conservatives a big favor by boiling it down and making it more readable. Would a fake conservative do that? I doubt it. Best I can tell, she's a real conservative who has simply been driven nuts by her frustration with the near total failure of conservatives including Trump to stop the left's in-your-face destruction of our country. Her heroes have failed her and she can't handle it.
