House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that House Republicans were criticizing the border deal because they are “following orders” from former President Donald Trump.
While discussing the Senate immigration bill, Jeffries said, “It should not be dead on arrival. See, you know, we need more common sense in Washington, D.C., less conflict and less chaos.”

As well they should. Trump is the DeFacto leader of the Republican Party, like it or not.
Why shouldn’t they? He’s the de facto leader of the Party now and will be leader after November.

Democrats are incapable of common sense since they have no critical thinking skills. Every day, they prove there is no relationship between cause and effect.

And it isn’t “former” President Trump. Per protocol and political etiquette, all former Presidents are referred to as “President”. Ditto for governors, mayors, ambassadors, etc.
They’d better be following orders of the American people (within the constraints of the Constitution, of course).
Common sense would have put the military on the border with live ammo years ago. Outside of collateral damage, nobody would be crossing the border illegally after a couple of days of actual defense of the boundary.
