House Speaker Mike Johnson will introduce a bill to send $17.6 billion to Israel in emergency aid without corresponding spending cuts amid a fight over border security.
The first standalone Israel aid package voted on included IRS cuts, which of course received heavy backlash by Democrats and was rejected by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
The new Israel funding bill will exclude the IRS cuts.
"While the Senate appears poised to finally release text of their supplemental package after months of behind closed doors negotiations, their leadership is aware that by failing to include the House in their negotiations, they have eliminated the ability for swift consideration of any legislation,” speaker Johnson wrote in a letter to colleagues.
"Given the Senate’s failure to move appropriate legislation in a timely fashion, and the perilous circumstances currently facing Israel, the House will continue to lead. Next week, we will take up and pass a clean, standalone Israel supplemental package.”

I could see MAYBE sending money to a country if they have a natural disaster but we can’t afford to send money to every country on the planet.
Israel is under attack from basically Russia, Iran, Yemen, Hezballah, Hamas, and the AbbasFatahPLO. Let’s stop the Washington Bullkrap and send them the equipment and ammo they need to win now~! (And someone needs to shove a rag in all the communist/nazi propagandists threatening Israel from the administration...they’re positively EMBARRASSING, revolting, disgusting and we pray they will all be replaced this year.)
We can also build our defense wall on our Southern border, these two things are not only NOT mutually-exclusive... they are closely related.....as some of the invasion on our southern border is NOT from Mexico, it just floods through Mexico ... from much more threatening countries. The entire West is being undermined and.or sold out by its ruling elites....including a lot in USA...WE CAN AND SHOULD get back to building our southern defense wall... and/or taking other EFFECTIVE measures to stop the invasion and restore normal reasonable security whereby we check who is trying to enter USA and we bar entry to the Communist Chinese spies and Krapistani terrorists, etc.
Some of which enter with student visas and never leave, too.
And some enter with tourist visas and just change their names and lose themselves forever in our great big country.
If we can only get back to a decent and competent WashingtonDC administration this year, we may still have a chance of reversing this undermining of USA!
We can get proper effective entry controls (including as much fence as necessary!)...once we get a proper effective administration in WashingtonDC.

The thing is... Israel is not only taking care of “themselves”...
By resisting and depleting America-hating islamists they are actually helping Americas long-term security - as well.
Thus, defunding Israel would have the same catastrophic effect for Americas as when we defund the police. Look what happened to New York for example... its become a criminal hell-hole.
It will be rather difficult for any govt to pressure Israel into “negotiating,”
since Israel has munitions and weaponry to destroy Hamas entirely on their own.

As required by US law, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale to Israel on May 18, 2015: Joint Direct Attack Munition Tail Kits, munitions, and associated equipment, parts and logistical support for an estimated cost of $1.879 billion.
The Government of Israel has requested:

The proposed sale of this equipment will provide Israel

Israel already has these munitions in its inventory, and will have no difficulty absorbing the additional munitions into its armed forces.
