Nikki Haley: ‘I Absolutely Trust the Jury’ in E. Jean Carroll’s Defamation Case Against Trump
Breitbart ^ | 01/28/2024 | Pam Key

Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that she absolutely trusted the jury’s $83 million verdict for E. Jean Carroll in her case against former President Donald Trump.

Anchor Kristen Welker said, “Let’s talk about the court cases. On Friday, a jury ordered Donald Trump to pay writer E. Jean Carroll $83 million in damages for defamation. This was a year after a different jury found him liable for sexual abuse. You have said, and you repeated here, maybe it’s fair, maybe it’s not. Let me just ask you, on the substance of the jury’s ruling, should that be disqualifying to be president?”

Don’t get me started on Nikki. I despise neocons even more than socialists.

Hey Nimarata:..Just remember... If the corrupt Just-Us system, with their shyster lawyers, corrupt judges and stupid, ignorant and partisan juries can do this to an ex- and potentially future President of the USA,....

....Then they can very easily do it to you, if you ever do or say anything ‘they’ don’t like. And unless you are a multi-Billionaire, they will impoverish you with lawyers fees. The Process IS the Punishment.

All the horrible people who were backing DeSantis are probably now backing Nimrata.

I suspect the McCain vote was fair. We just had a lot of people enamored with him being a veteran, and one who survived the Hanoi Hilton at that, and not knowing what an open-borders knucklehead who could get us into nuclear war he was. Also, the Dumb-O-Crat crossover votes in open primaries didn’t help, either.

“She now looks to lose her home state by 60 points, plus or minus.”

Southerners think of “home states” because home and states are important.

Mrs. Haley is not a southerner. South Carolina was simply a place to park until she could move-up to something bigger and better. Reminds me of Mrs. Clinton's home state of Arkansas.

Haley lived her whole life there. Her South Carolina may not be yours, but whatever else is wrong with her, she’s not an interloper.

Interesting comment.

May we see your data?

It’s a guess, all right, but she sure isn’t dropping out, so I’m sure some folks want her to stay, and I doubt they are the ones who have our best interests at heart.

Go Trump!

Eighty-three million dollars, and the idiot judge wouldn’t even allow President Trump to present a defense! Yeah I believe in that verdict.

“President Trump was forbidden to present a defense that would have exonerated himself.”

Just like Alex Jones was in TX.

““All the horrible people who were backing DeSantis are probably now backing Nimrata.””

I doubt that.

For example, Ron DeSantis himself is backing President Trump for which Trump has expressed appreciation.

Some DeSantis supporters quickly announced they will follow the governor's lead, for example Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis and state legislators Ingoglia, Lamarch, and Caruso.

You’re exactly right. The verdict would not have been different no matter how much truth they heard.
