Redistricting happens every 10 years as part of the Census. They’re terrified if Trump gets in that CBP will be injected with massive amounts of cash to hunt down millions of illegals to deport them. For once, I’d agree with that use of my tax dollars.

In February 2017, we had the Presidency, the Senate, and the House.
Lots of us were asking for this back then. Coulda been passed and signed, Trump had said he wanted to.
Nope. Not one of these grandstanders did a damn thing.
And that’s all that’s going to happen here. It’s just to get an election issue soundbite going. Has Zero chance of passing the Senate, and less then Zero chance of being signed by this President.
They may say “vote fer us, we’ll git’er done”, but uh...what about 2017?

Same with repealing the GOP repealing Obamacare. Same with the DNC repealing the Patriot Act. Remember torture bad? Nope, they made it permanent!

The only way illegal immigration will stop is if those coming across the border start voting Republican. Then, Democrats will be lined up at the border shooting them on sight.
Obviously it won’t pass and can’t get past Biden.
If we get a republican president, we need to federally outlaw sanctuary cities.
Do they have a plan to get this to Biden’s desk and get it signed? Are they attaching it to a spending bill, or some other must-pass legislation? No. This is the shiny object to distract from their amnesty legislation they are spinning like tops trying to sell as a strict border policy. This is cynical theater, they would not even take this up if they thought they could get it through.
Trump issued an Executive Order that illegal immigrants would not be counted in the 2020 census for purposes of apportionment and the Left sued in court, but the Census wasn't delivered to Trump so the case was dismissed.

They don’t need them to vote. They need them to give blue states power with gross over representation in congress and the electoral college. It has been reported California would have lost several more seats if illegals had not been counted in the census. Conservatives can move as far away as they want from the larger blue states, they are being replaced.
From my view, the above statement is obviously mistaken.
"We" did not have the Senate or the House. We should have had the Senate and the House, but enough Republicans in both houses were habitual liars who routinely lied to their voters to be elected.
In the House, the principal traitor was Paul Ryan.
In the Senate, the principal traitor was John McCain.
"We" never actually controlled the House or the Senate. The Deep State controlled them.
Now, we are actually taking over the Republican party. Many Rinos have left or been defeated.
President Trump set the stage with his first term. During it and the Biden presidency, the traitors in our midst have been revealed.
How much of the above is by control through extortion and blackmail is very difficult to know.
That’s funny. They do nothing, and now when it’s going to bite them personally, they’re upset.
Since we’re not even allowed to COUNT illegals in the Census, how could this bill possibly work?
Furthermore, the main thing which is affected by all this is reapportionment, not redistricting although that is a factor too.
If illegals aren’t counted, the massive power that one certain state has in the House would be greatly diminished. It’s going to be diminished after 2030 anyway, because so many people are “voting with their feet” and leaving La-La-Land.
Unfortunately, they have to move somewhere.
Usually to a “red” state that mysteriously and suddenly begins turning purple at that point before it eventually goes bright “blue”. For every one good person that leaves California and improves some other state, there are many more disease carriers who “Californicate” places like Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Colorado and Nevada and permanently ruin them — with more to come.
You’re next, Montana, Idaho and Utah, not to mention bigger and more obvious targets like Florida or North Carolina. It’s not JUST Californicators which invade and cause a nice area to deteriorate, but they sure do make a large contribution.
