It’s a truism that a person always has two reasons for doing anything, the good reason and the real reason. I can’t figure out what Fetterman’s real reason is, since his allies see him as a turncoat, and those on our side carry a huge mistrust of him.
He has always struck me as someone who really doesn’t give a rat’s @ss what others think.

I’m by nature a suspicious person. But I think Fetterman is genuine, the real deal. I also think he has a case of rookie integrity. By that I mean he’s a new guy who’s trying to do the right thing. He hasn’t been seduced by money and power yet.
Will Fetterman still be genuine a year from now? Or will he be just another self-serving DC blob? Time will tell.
