Border Patrol Turns on Joe Biden, Proclaims Support for Texas National Guard

Is there going to be a major confrontation on the border following Joe Biden's ultimatum that Texas National Guard forces be removed from Shelby Park and other "disputed" areas? Not if the rank-and-file of the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol have anything to say about it.

According to a new post put out by the Border Patrol Union, and a new report from Griff Jenkins of Fox News, Biden has lost operational control of the situation, at least in a practical sense.

Border Patrol Union - NBPC @BPUnion

Rank-and file BP agents are not going to start arresting TX NG members for following their LAWFUL orders. That's fake news.

TX NG and rank-and-file BP agents work together and respect each other's jobs. Period. If TX NG members have LAWFUL orders, then they have to carry out

“….Border Patrol didn't turns on Joe Biden, it remained loyal the U.S. and the Constitution.“

In other words, BP refused the orders from a derelict POTUS.

“I’m confused...

Is it Texas National Guard? Or Texas Military Department?

Both have been discussed as being used to defend the Texas border, but I thought Abbott was relying on the (not Federal) Texas Military Department. The big difference being that Biden could activate the Texas NG to follow Federal orders as opposed to the Texas MD is only state-run.

Did I not see Texas Military Department employment opportunities posted here yesterday? I was polishing up my resumé.”

I think both departments are there now. It was the Texas Military that was advertising positions.

“I am starting to think of Arizona as a lost cause, already - like Georgia.”

I don’t think Georgia is a lost cause. I think it will swing for Trump in November, and in the next Senate election the GOP, if they run a strong conservative candidate, will take back that Senate seat. The democrats are losing the support of some of the blacks in the state and it might just be enough to overcome the margin in cheating this November.

I agree that Georgia is a question of overcoming the magnitude of cheating.

I don’t think it helps that Kemp is on the inside, either.

Wire? Have you taken a recent look at what they built down there? Like a forward operating base in Afghanistan, Iraq. If someone wants to take that down they better bring more than wire cutters.

That land now blocked off was a rally point for the border jumpers and a convenient rendezvous space for NGOs to get them organized, hence all the bitching. The NGOs went to making calls to their politician buddies to get it all opened up so they could get back in business. Unsuccessful so far, LoL!

The sum of the Texas "military department" is the Texas Army National Guard, Texas Air National Guard and the State Guard. Had a Navy and Marine Corps during time as a Republic. The Rangers were in it until the 1930's when they were switched over to the DPS.

When Newsom said the Democrat candidate would not be Biden and would not be him, I wonder who he was thinking of or what he knew.

Anywhere illegal slags can get across. There is no border. It’s nothing but a line on a map right now.

Democrats are clueless about this. I know democrats who are pissed about this too. Nobody likes it, except who’s getting rich off it, I think.

Good thing it’s the border patrol, and not the FBI. I don’t think there are 3 decent people who work for the latter agency.

The regime is not going to be able to stop Texas through direct confrontation for a number of reasons - from the likelihood that Border Patrol agents and military personal will refuse to obey the orders, to the bad optics that such a move would engender. They’re likely to shift to punitive tactics instead.

“Why aren’t these other border states doing the same as Texas? The country’s being invaded. Why are they sitting on their hands? For the party?”

You answered your own question. The other border states all have Demonrat governors.
