NEW YORK — A federal jury ordered former President Trump to pay $83.3 million for defaming E. Jean Carroll when Trump in 2019 denied the longtime advice columnist’s accusation that he sexually assaulted her decades earlier.
It marks the second time Carroll has won damages from Trump at trial, with the new total adding to a $5 million verdict last year finding Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll and defaming her over a separate comment.
Carroll’s latest trial became intertwined with the heat of the early primary contests, beginning the day after Trump’s historic win in the Iowa caucuses and proceeding past the New Hampshire primary, when Trump further cemented his status as the indisputable Republican front-runner.

For the first trial, the judge merely declared Trump guilty. He would not allow Trump to defend himself against the rape charge.
This whole thing will be dismissed at some higher level.

The rallying cry of the left who for years told us that Trump lied about his wealth and was really poor: “Let’s steal away all of his millions!”
He’s already had to post $5.5 million in order to appeal the original verdict, I’d imagine that he’ll have to do it again. He would only have to pay a small percentage of the amount if he could get someone else to post a bond for the rest, but I don’t think he’ll find someone willing to do that. If he loses his appeals, the full amount will be right there for her to take.

Judge Kaplan refuses to allow the Anderson Cooper Interview on CNN of E. Jean Carroll wherein Carroll says, “Rape is sexy,” and numerous other things that totally exonerate me. Judge Kaplan is refusing me my Constitutional Right to Due Process, to defend myself against this False Accusation. This is a one-sided trial, where the other side is allowed everything, and we are allowed nothing. He is an extremely abusive individual, the likes of which few have seen before!

Of course, just another nail in the coffin. Most can now see what has happened to our “ Justice “ system, loss of confidence in our Justice system has consequences, the most grave is Revolution…are we there yet?
As one who studies history, I can see it happening…..the hallmarks are becoming apparent, corrupted government, extreme division, unpayable debt, increased taxation, …… tic toc, tic toc….

If I were the judge in this case I would reduce the award to $100.00 if not eliminate it entirely.
Conservatives couldn't even boycott Amazon, Facebook, or the mainstream media in meaningful numbers, even as they were lying about Trump and us and instigating violence against us.
By now the left has figured out that the we're paper tigers who will allow our lying government to lead us into bombing anyone they choose, but won't do anything about our domestic enemies.
