$1,500 is chump change.

Wait till he finds out he’ll have to pay $25,000 for a battery replacement someday soon. Probably more than that since it’s a Mercedes.

And what to do with the old batteries? I think we should stock pile them and use them to build a massive wall on the border…or just ship them to China on barges

Will replacement batteries even be available in 8-12 years when they wear out? Replacing them will cost more than the car is worth even with new batteries. So EVs are a disposable item.
