The other day there was a story on Boston TV news that Senator Ed Markey (whose nickname on the Howie Carr Show is “Mister Frostee”) was standing in front of a Walgreens in a minority section of Boston demanding that they not close it. I NEVER fly into the Oakland airport (area where this In-n-out is located). There was a very nice, upscale hotel near the Oakland airport I was thinking of staying in when we had a light evening flight - comments on a travel site said to steer clear because of crime in the surrounding area and even in the parking lot, one commenter said he had to run for his life after dumping trash in the parking lot dumpster. I re-booked the flight into San Francisco even though it was inconvenient.

I never go to Oakland. Period, although I keep hearing there are “some nice areas.”
