A thread earlier said he cancelled interviews with CNN and Meet the Press. He’s done.
His only hope for a future is to name names - who in the “donor community” said what to him, when.
When was he recruited? Was it an outgrowth of Crossfire Hurricane? Was it before or after the House wipeout in 2018?
What was he promised? When he called Ukraine a “border dispute”, who called him first, and what was said?
It is safe to say that the DeSantis family won’t be having Karl Rove over for dinner any time soon. Rove and the Trump hating Bush family filled DeSantis and his wife’s heads with vision of grandeur. It is rare that a politician to take such foolish advice and witnessed his career disintegrate.
Hopefully DeSantis hasn’t ruined his political career in Florida, assuming he wants to continue being governor there beyond the end of his current term (2026).

It will be interesting to see which way the DeSantis supporters, especially here on this forum, will go. Some will hop on the Trump train, but I predict that the vast majority will pledge their undying fidelity to Icky Nikki. After Donald Trump trounces her in the primaries, most of these defectors will likely stay home and pout on election day. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a powerful mental illness.

Interesting. He had my support in 2020 with COVID policies and other things he did in FL. IMHO, he should have taken a back seat in 24 and ran in 28.
