Haley falsely denied cheating on her husband when she was accused of engaging in two extramarital affairs during her 2010 South Carolina gubernatorial campaign.

Falsley denied There's that term again. They used in it their earlier artice. Must be a British thing. Cause it makes no sense in English.

It is a strange phrase. Meaning her denial was false? How do you prove a negative?

US media has a different way of claiming a negative assertion is true. Debunked; disproven, conspiracy theory etc.

“Falsely denied”

It means her denial is a lie.

Sure it does. In English it means she lied.
