Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told Hugh Hewitt on Thursday morning that he has the campaign resources to stay in the race through at least the end of March, meaning he will not drop out of the race before Super Tuesday.

You know, coming in second gives us the ticket to continue, but I told me people this from the very beginning. I don’t want to be V.P. I don’t want to be in the cabinet. I don’t want a T.V. show. I’m in it to win it, and at some point, you know, if that’s not working out for you, like I recognize that this isn’t a vanity thing for me. But I do believe that we have an opportunity in November to do very, very well.

He’s betting on the lawyers or the CIA to take Trump out. Pretty disgusting!
Problem is the lawyers are just making Trump stronger and MAGA even more loyal which I suspect makes it more difficult for the lawyers to get away with it.

The longer he stays in, the more damage that is done. But little of that damage is against the DEMs. It will mostly be damaging the Trump campaign by forcing them to spend more money, along with the damage to any national aspirations for DeSantis.

He arranged with the State Legislature to ensure he'd get a taxpayer-funded vacation until he's forced to return to his job. It's been 8 months now that he's had a free ride on the back of Florida taxpayers, while flitting around the country making a fool of himself.
