My grandparents bought a home in Chicago when they immigrated to the States. They were Republicans but voted Dem. Why? because they were threatened if they didn’t. This is back in the 50’s.

Our first dog was a Boxer.
She would never let another adult, except my parents, in the backyard if we were out there playing.
