The irony is that most EV owners will not be too inconvenienced as they have other vehicles (that aren't electric) to use in the meantime. Or they could always call for a ride with UBER or LYFT.

Most EV owners in my neighborhood have a BMW or Lexus next to the EV in their garages. These EV owners tend to be rather affluent and so they have options.

Battery EV’s are NOT for frigid weather.
They are NOT for everybody, in all circumstances.
Just like Diesel Crew Cab Dually Pickups, Prius’, or Minivans.

But, they can play a great role for some (IMHO many). Shorter commutes, all day local errand runs like dedicated delivery routes, or for me, lots of local trips with a great little stretch of highway to get the juices going.
