Lot of unknowns. What size was the ship? What were they boarding from? If it was a smaller craft there were other operators not mentioned. Was the ship underway or was it moored?

When this first happened, I checked the water temp in the Gulf. High 70’s. Hypothermia is not an issue.
I’d assume that their kit includes flotation devices. I just can’t fathom this having a bad ending, unless, as Sundance believes, the story is a complete lie, made up by liars.
There is a ratio for individual radio beacons. Every vest or PFD has a flashing strobe. NONE of these are to be used for just one person. They are locked in the repair lockers for when ‘abandon ship” is called.

How do the two relate to each other in any way, and which version of the Crabb mystery is it supposed to match?
The phony stories the Regime put out after both Crabb and these two SEALs disappeared.
Now the latest is they were part of a boarding party. Two ended up in the water, but the rest detained the crew, confiscated the weapons, scuttled the ship but can’t find two in the water ????

You could have just made your claim like that in the first place instead of sending people to a long and irrelevant British story from the 1950s about a Russian submarine.

We still don’t know for sure.
The reason to refer to past events is because there is nothing new under the sun.
Most people understand that part of what one can do is look at past events to try to explain confusing or inexplicable current news. Past events can sometimes give some hints or guidance.
Also, past events gives a pattern for institutions which have to face bad news or failed missions, and how they communicate that to the public.
I guess the connection will remain a mystery to me.
