They complain of a delay of a few days or weeks. Meanwhile, my dead nephews wife in Thailand waited for TWO YEARS for action on her application (which should have taken only days for the widow of a U.S. citizen), only to have it cancelled for inaction.
I called my U.S. senators office and had her send an email to the senators office, and she heard from the State Department only 5 days later.
