Stefanik is concerned about the “treatment of January 6 hostages.” This BIG and growing - republicans have tried STERNLY written letters, voicing their disapproval - What is Next? A letter in their high school personal file? It has been over 3 years. The American people deserve better. More Americans are going to be imprisoned and yet the republicans are the party of NO ACTION.

Until the tapes came out showing the reality of January 6, had she spoken strongly about this she'd had been successfully made to look a delusional fool. WE had seen a few early here on FR, but in no way was it commone enough knowledge for it to have been stated to effect.
She's got it down to looking strong without appearing to be a "bomb-thrower." That's smart politics, despite our preferences. I respect that sense of timing. The travesty of the treatment of political prisoners is not on her.

If you didn't catch The Elise Stephanik interview on Meet the Press, take the 10 minutes to watch. She crushes it, slams the corrupt NBC gal interviewer, totally destroys the Dem talking points, and should school every GOP Congressman out there how to do an interview.
Totally prepared, Elise slices and dices the gal who kept reading what her Dem Party gave her to say. Very impressed, she keeps growing and did not rule out serving in the Trump administration when he gets elected.
