Ron DeSantis says Jan. 6 wouldn’t have happened if he were President

“If I had been President, none of that would have happened. Obviously, I would have won the election against Joe Biden and we wouldn’t have been in those situations to begin with,” said DeSantis, who was in the middle of his first term as Governor in 2021.

DeSantis also chastised the former President for the decision “to invite all his supporters to D.C., the belly of the beast knowing that it’s a hostile jurisdiction for Republicans.”

Trump is on record as requesting 10,000 National Guard troops and was overruled by Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of D C.

This is a perfect example of how mindless your devotion is. So what if Trump asked Nancy to secure his protest, he knew in advance she wasn't going to do it, but then provided no protection of his own. And he had the right to call the National Guard on his own, as he is the one who actually called them out on J6! He hung these people out to dry, and to try to now blame Nancy for not securing it for him is as laughable as it comes.

FBI and government implants led them into the building, not Trump

Trump left them completely vulnerable, like lambs at the slaughter. He should have known it was a setup, many others knew it was likely, yet he did absolutely nothing to protect them. Still hasn't done anything to this day.

He lied when he said he was coming to the Capitol himself, and if it's true that the Secret Service prevented him, he should have recognized it was getting out of control and asked the protestors to call it off and leave immediately. But instead, he got on the phone and starting teasing other politicians about how crazy it was getting, because he was proud of it.

His vanity is what caused this, pure and simple, and since he can't think beyond his own protection, many others are now paying for it. Despite many Freepers going to Tallahassee in 2020, it appears everyone was smart enough to avoid this catastrophe, or they're keeping their head down because they know Trump isn't looking out for them.

Yes Florida did lock down for three weeks and the the governor reversed the position. He admitted it was a mistake and he corrected it.

DeSantis never admitted he was at fault for locking down Florida. He blames it on Trump.

Go watch tonight’s Trump snooze fest and then watch RDS from his Townhall Thursday night. Come back and tell you are still supporting Trump.

As if I don't do my homework and watch both all the time? DeSantis is AOL on the uniparty Deep State lawfare and and election stealing. No thanks.

Disclaimer, I currently support RDS the way I supported Trump in 16’ and 20’. $$$ and votes..

So what.

Disclaimer: I currently support Trump and don't support DeSantis the way I supported Cruz and didn't support Trump in 2016.

“gnarly personality alone”

If anyone believes that, they are morons.

If anyone would decide the fate of their Nation and all future generations based on that criteria, they are imbociles.

Still hasn't done anything to this day.

TDS lie. Trump embraces the Jan. 6 rioters on the trail. In court, his lawyers hope to distance him from them.

Trump is speaking up in spite of serious legal risks of retaliation by the kangaroo court and DOJ.

What a loser post. When someone cheats we should take it in good grace because that avoids unpleasantness/s
The heck with the damage done to America and American justice by green lighting cheating. It’s attitudes like yours where honor is irrelevant that are destroying America.

Embraced? What does that mean, he gave them a hug? Not even that, according to the article. Best I can tell, it only says he talks about them on occasion. Oh wow. Amazing how much he’s doing, huh.

This sentence is witness to the fact that you are a deranged idiot and this conversation is over.

I tend to like a lot of what DeSantis does but he also says some pretty stupid stuff on occasion and tends to cozy up to RINOs a tad too much.

I can imagine how you, in Trump's shoes, would protect the J6 people. Jack Smith and the other dem persecutors would love to indict Trump again based on any excuse. Doesn't matter to him if the charges are bogus.

he has also fundraised for them

April 27th partial lift. The order was explicitly couched as based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the Trump White House.

September 25, 2020: Ends lockdown

Trump imitation off.

Oops, If you had won the election, you would not have been yet president.

That is Jan 21.

Counting is learned in the first grade (if not at home by supremecist white kids).

Go back for a grade 1 refresher.
