At the 2004 Democratic National Convention, Illinois State Sen. Barack Obama said: "There is not a Black America and a White America and Latino America and Asian America – there's the United States of America. … We are one people. …"
After announcing his candidacy for president, Sen. Obama appeared on "60 Minutes":
"60 Minutes": "You think the country's ready for a black president?"
Obama: "Yes."
"60 Minutes": "You don't think it's going to hold you back?"
Obama: "No. I think if I don't win this race, it will be because of other factors. It's going to be because I have not shown to the American people a vision for where the country needs to go that they can embrace."
Polls offered support for Obama's optimism. The 2008 principal primary candidates for the Republicans were Arizona Sen. John McCain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. For Democrats, the candidates were Obama and Hillary Clinton. A 2007 Gallup poll found that 42% of Americans said they would not vote for someone of McCain's age. Twenty-four percent said they would not vote for a Mormon, Romney's religion. As for Clinton, 11% said they would not vote for a woman. Just 5% said they would not vote for a black person.

Old, old tactic. Get groups to fight agin’ one another an you can rule—Helped us beat the Indians in 19th Century. Held the Austro-Hungarian Empire together for decades. Only when people wise up does it fail.
They can thank the black mis-sigh-a, but me I’ve learned that the only people equal to me are those who made it on merit. The rest are beneath me, they don’t measure up, and like Harvaarrdd’s Gay they know they are unequal. Obama has made Americans take a hard look at what constitutes the Black Community; they don’t want prision or law enforcement, great send all the rapists, murders back home where they are the gift that keeps on givig.
We are not that divided. The college educated social climbers are not living in the cesspool they create. Come the revolution, they will be the ones what ate the cake and those they relegated to a life of hell will be the executioners.
A French styled revolution is coming, and the lefts leadership are in the left’s sights.
Necklacing would be...
Well you know The Thing.
What I have heard tells me that America definitely was NOT READY for THAT black president & it wasn’t because he was black.
