Former President Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner for president in 2024, told Breitbart News exclusively during a two-hour-plus interview at Mar-a-Lago last week that the person who gets the nod for vice president will not make much difference in the grand scheme of things regarding winning the election.
“If you study the history of presidential runs, a vice president has never made a difference—which is surprising,” Trump said. “It’s a one-night story, and then they’re back to a regular evening. They’re voting for the president. They’re not voting for the vice president. There has, not that I can think of, never been a vice president that’s made much of a difference in terms of nomination and in terms of even winning the election.”
While Trump did not get into specifically whom he would pick if he wins the nomination as expected or a timeline for an eventual decision, he did say that Republicans have a deep bench, and lots of people would be good choices.

I have to disagree with the President on this.
A bad VP choice has sunk many a Presidential run.
I don’t think Trump understands the grave significance of picking the right VP.
It must be someone who will readily step into the White House in 2028.
He can’t pick Noem, Lake, Nikki, Flynn, Carson, Tulsi, Don, Jr., etc.
He can only pick DeSantis. Flame away.
“De Santis, Pompeo, Youngkin”
Dreadful, terrible, and OMG NO!
Trump needs to select a successor for MAGA-
current betting odds-
Noem 4/1 in fr 8/1
Vivek 7/1
Stefanik 8/1
Haley 11/1 out fr 8/1
Carlson 15/1
Scott 16/1 in fr 25/1
Sanders 22/1-the best choice
Lake 30/1 out fr 20/1
plenty more listed longer than 30/1.
As President Trump is aware, I’ve been a 100% vocal supporter since the day he came down that escalator. However, if he makes the mistake of selecting a woman as his running mate, he still may win the coming election, but he certainly won’t have my vote.
Vivek is not an Article 2 Section 1 natural born Citizen. He’s constitutionally ineligible.

Obama and Kamala smirk at your silly notion.
Of course they do, they’re criminal usurpers.
While I believe what he says is true there... because it did not change the outcome, I think John McCain got twice as many votes with Sarah Palin as he would have without her.

Yet Obama picked a demented old fool. Who is now even sicker in the head.
And demented old fool picked a word salad speaking ho.
“Carlson is best fit for Press Secretary.”
I think Vivek would be a great Press Secretary, assuming that all he’s been saying is what he really believes. (Still not trusting him 100%.) The way he “talks back” to the MSM is beautiful poetry mixed with major ass kicking. Press Conferences would be must-see TV.
Tucker usually is good, but he’s not constant. He needs more time to develop.
Everyone goes nuts because he was had of the CIA for a vary short time. Read his bio and it will convince you to back off on the criticism..
And he has the International experience we need so badly.
Pompeo is 10 years older than DeSantis..I'd say Pompeo could use him as VP...but Pompeo might know someone even better.
Chances are it is going to be a woman. As President Trump is aware conservatives believe in merit and don’t believe in selecting inferiority based on lunacy.
“I don’t have good juju about Pompeo. Could be wrong.”
Back when he was kicking around the idea of running for POTUS, he said some anti-Trump things. I posted some links a couple weeks ago. Googled something like POMPEO SABOTAGE TRUMP.
Stefanik.
i would go for De Santis, Pompeo, Youngkin
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
IMHO any one of them would be likely to turn on him in a heartbeat and stab him in the back. I’m convinced all three of them are closet Deep Staters.
Noem.
And read up on the guy...and don't judge on one facet with no input from Pompeo himself. His bio will take care of any doubt.
“He can only pick DeSantis.”
As if ...
When there are qualified people who HAVEN’T stabbed him in the back, why would he pick Meatball?
