Officials attempting to transport migrants from the southern border to New York City appear to have found a workaround to an executive order aimed at limiting the number of asylum seekers in the Big Apple.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Wednesday issued an executive order placing limits for on how migrants arrive in the city, The New York Times reported. It was an attempt to push back against Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott's efforts to send asylum seekers to the city.
However, Politico reported Sunday that buses of migrants had arrived at various New Jersey train stations. The migrants then took trains to the New York City, Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy's office said.
Adams' executive order stipulated fines, jail time, and the possible impounding of buses. It did not address travel via trains.

Just how are punishments like this (jail time) legal via "executive order"? This should only happen via law passed by the appropriate legislative body. Is NYC a dictatorship?
Mayor Adams has not figured out that people who travel thousands of miles to cross an international border will have no compunction about taking a short train ride to cross a state line that isn’t guarded at all. It will work as well as a gun free zone. It makes me laugh.

That’s an illegal attempt to interfere with interstate travel. Biden’s Justice Department needs to investigate that order at once.
I kid about an investigation, of course. Someone in Biden’s administration probably gave dumb ol’ Mayor Adams the idea in the first place.

It’s only going to get worse now that a boneheaded Feral US “judge” has given ownership of the Rio Grande and what was the U.S. border to his boy Lopez-Obrador (AMLO). Judicial “man crushes” are a pain in the ass.
If Trump gets back in office, he should issue a similar E/O calling for the arrest of every person in every NGO that has participated in this human trafficking disaster. Maybe even a charge of consorting with the enemy and treason.
