You won’t hear President Biden talking about it much, but a key record has been broken during his watch: The United States is producing more oil than any country ever has.
The flow of huge amounts of crude from American producers is playing a big role in keeping prices down at the pump, diminishing the geopolitical power of OPEC, and taming inflation. The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline nationwide has dropped to close to $3, and analysts project it could stay that way leading up to the presidential election, potentially assuaging the economic anxieties of swing state voters who will be crucial to Biden’s hopes of a second term.
But it is not something the president publicly boasts about. The politics of oil are particularly tricky for Democrats, whose chances for victory in the 2024 elections could hinge on whether young, climate-conscious voters come out in big numbers. Many of those voters want to hear that Biden is doing everything in his power to keep oil in the ground.

Correct. But Biden will win in 2024. Then Newsom will replace him in 2028. They'll appoint all the federal judges.
And ONLY gas ⛽⛽⛽⛽ prices are down
Everything else is UP UP UP UP
🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙🆙
Don’t waste your time trying to explain it - it’s a lie. There are a hundred ways the Democrats lie about the economy. The most common way is to simply falsify the number and then quietly revise it the following quarter.
They do that with quarterly jobs and growth all the time. They report a favorable number and the fake news makes a big deal about it - then they revise it downward the next quarter and the fake news buries the story.
As simple as that - they are liars.
They’re not “climate conscious” young voters, they are brainwashed to be “climate delusional” young robots.
A climate conscious person puts another log on the fire, when it gets colder outside.
Useful to understand “refinery gain”. No other country in the world has this sort of parameter in significance.
Crude oil is a liquid of a certain viscosity or thickness. You refine it by boiling it and extracting at various temperature points the lower thickness constituent parts of the crude — gasoline, diesel, kerosene etc. The crude that came into the refinery was measured by volume — by barrels (42 gallons in a barrel). Then the result of refining it is lower thickness liquids and they also add up to volume.
And that volume is higher than the volume of the crude input.
This difference in volume is called Refinery Gain. It’s a bit over 1 million barrels/day and it is added to production.
This happens even if the crude is imported. Repeat, refinery gain is quoted on crude refined that came in as an import.
“Does anyone believe The Post?”
With WTI trading at $71.65, the market believes it.
Keeping prices down, helping curb inflation.......smoking some awesome weed eh?
Call it what it is, but gas is $2.50 a gallon. Not bad.
I wish l had saved the report of Biden changing the way production is calculated. It was around 6 months ago and it has been completly scrubbed. You cannot find it. I knew they would use it to send out this BS claim in 24.
Where has that been reported?
Post #29. I read it but it’s gone. You can choose to believe it or not. Considering Biden is a corrupt, lying pile of excrement would it surprise you?
“U.S. oil production hit a record under Biden. He seldom mentions it.”
That’s because the prick has done everything in his power to stifle it.
This is a guess BUT I think the regime is doing everything it can to keep inflation under control including pumping oil, printing money, dropping interest rates and a lot of things we don’t know about.
Once the election is over, all of this will stop immediately.
So if the RATs win, everything collapses at the end of the year.
If Trump wins, BLM, Antifa, MS13 ect all riot.
Not a rosy outlook.
I haven’t seen anyone else saying this but it seems obvious to me...
I just read post #25 that may be the answer.

Rational pols would be crowing about this nonstop, but there's nary a mention of it on the "The White House -- Biden/Harris Record" page. How strange they aren't bragging about it!
You ought to see the endless coal trains running through North Idaho from the Wyoming Powder River Basin to the shipping ports on the west coast.
We are exporting our energy at a furious rate.
:o)
Analysts at Rapidan Energy estimate US output will average 13.3 million barrels a day next year, up from 2023's average of 13 million and above the current all-time record of 13.2 million reached in September. That comes as US oil giants Exxon Mobil and Chevron recently announced increases in their capital expenditure budgets for 2024 as they pour more money into the Permian Basin, the epicenter of the shale boom.
It is a half truth..or propaganda whichever way you want to put it.
Oil production on EXISTING oil leases are at record highs. Overall, they are not since the pig faced son of a bitch has shut down every single oil lease the son of a bitch could.
Wait..you hear it again soon. “This is the result of leases we let out to the oil companies.” That will be another lie from them. The lease they let out are non productive and are actually lease that are worthless. They offer them up every so often to try and bait to corporations into jumping on them. Then, they claim..”Oh we offered more leases than ever has been offered in history.”
Here is how anyone should view these pricks. If their lips are moving and they are sucking air, they are lying. Every single politician, MSN media, etc.
