Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, has made a startling declaration regarding Russia's military objectives in Ukraine.

In a statement on Telegram, he affirmed that Russia's so-called special operation aims to continue, with its goals including the disarmament of Ukrainian forces and the rejection of neo-Nazism by the current Ukrainian state.

Medvedev also stated that Russia intends to capture additional Ukrainian cities, specifically naming Odessa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv.

If you haven’t been paying attention, the US tried to organize a force to defend the Red Sea shipping lanes, and most of Europe said “Nah, we will just not ship to Israel. Not our fight.”
********************************************************************

That’s true and surprises me immensely. If the Red Sea/Suez canal shipping route is not a Western European vital interest I don’t know what would be. Maybe they simply want Uncle Sugar to bear the burden, as usual.

The Russian Navy is certainly turning the bottom of the Black Sea into a naval junk yard.

They want America broken and defeated. Any port in a storm and all that. That’s why they are big fans of Kremlin Bolsheviks, Chicoms and Death to America Iran.

LOL. If we haven't sent troops so far, you really believe we would now? That's ridiculous.

Besides the fact that Biden is doing what he can to help Putin. He can't come out and say it, but Obama did.

Remember, Obama told Putin (Medvedev is just a microphone to Putin) that he would do whatever Putin wanted after he got reelected=. So if Biden were to get reelected, he would he would force Ukraine to surrender completely to Russia.

I suspect that Russian strategic thinkers have now realized that it’s too dangerous to Russian interests to allow Ukraine Black Sea access. Ukrainians probably have themselves to blame for that shift which I conjecture was triggered by Ukrainian successful attacks on the Crimea region.

Great point.

I wasn't even thinking along those lines - but it makes enormous amounts of sense.

Don’t worry, Biden will force them to surrender everything if he gets reelected.

“No WW III—or it would have happened by now—No one wants that.”

Who wanted WW I?

Perhaps military equipment manufactures. Any different today?

It depends on how magnanimous Putin wants to be. NATO and its client are incapable of preventing the Russians from doing anything they want in Ukraine. Considering the fact that Odessa has been Russian since Catherine the Great, it will soon be Russian again.

That’s it exactly.

Why should they lift a finger when they have Uncle Sucker to do it for them?

While they complain about our guns, school shootings and lack of paid for by the government via taxes health care.
