I've been asking why the state Supreme Courts, and now Secretaries of State, get involved in a party's primary? It's a private affair within the party alone to choose whom they want to run.
Since President Trump is not the party's official candidate on the general election ballot yet, it seems that this person is acting prematurely.

No way a Secretary of State can just decide to keep a candidate off the ballot in order to “protect democracy.” It's certainly a tell for how these people define 'democracy' -- in their own special way, in order to protect the party.
