Nothing will happen. The scumbag collectivists at NMPGV have already won by daring law enforcement to do something about it. The Sheriff already folded like a cheap suit and I certainly don’t expect ATF to be distracted from their quest to subvert the constitution. I am a Life Member of the NRA. That said, if the firearms are promptly destroyed then where’s the harm? Does the owner need to toss the firearm into a shredder? Would that be acceptable?

De milling of a firearm must be preformed by a licensed Gunsmith or other licensed authority, and be recorder as such.
