CAD = cold agglutun disease. It is a rare hemolytic autoimmune disease where at certain temperatures or below your body begins destroying your own red blood cells. In my case, the agglutination begins around 65oF. Our primary defense is to stay out of cooler climates.
Jem, you are a delightful lady. I’m so sorry that you suffer with CAD, but in spite of that, you always have something helpful and interesting to enrich our little group. I always love reading your posts, and following your little adventures and comings and goings has been so enjoyable for me....I suspect that everyone feels the same.

Interesting. Was it hard to get the diagnosis at first?
