Any ideas on how to cook boneless pork chops, about an inch thick?
I thought I’d take some to a friend that just got out of the hospital, had 3/4 of a lung removed for cancer. He needs heart healthy meals.

I always do pork chops in slow cooker. And always do with fruit. Sear first in cast iron pan
Chose a fruit. Fresh apples, oranges, pineapple etc
Mix sliced fruit with sliced sweet onion 50/50. 1.5 to 2 cups each
Season mixture as you like . S & P, garlic powder, celery salt or seeds
Spray crock
Put half fruit mix on bottom of crock, layer chops, cover w rest of fruit mix.
1.5 hrs on high . 5 more on low. Should be fork tender. Serve on platter with broth atop of chops and put the fruit mixture in bowl. It will be good atop chops.
I usually twice or three times baste with broth from mixture
I serve with egg noodles, green veggie n salad
This approximations are for 6+ chops. Reduce fruit n onion to one cup for 4 chops
Also can do dry rub before sear.
Cotton. Can do triple bread (flour, egg, panko) pan fry n bake til tender. Common favorite but depends on cstbsetc. If she’s diabetic can skip fruit in crock n maybe use just onions n add another complementary vegetable. Could always do stuffed chops

On October 7, 2023, Hamas kidnapped 253 people.
134 abductees are in Gaza. Among them:
- 4 people have been held hostage by Hamas since 2014
- 130 people kidnapped during the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023
Among those held hostage:
• 111 men and 19 women, including:
• 2 children under 5 years old.
of which: 119 Israeli citizens and 11 foreign citizens (8 from Thailand, 1 from Nepal, 1 from Tanzania, 1 from France/Mexico).
The bodies of 33 abductees are being held by Hamas in Gaza (including Adar Goldin and Oron Shaul).
1 Israeli woman is considered missing.
Freed/rescued: 123 people:
• 5 Israelis were rescued before the first exchange with Hamas.
• 81 Israelis and 24 foreigners were released in the first exchange with Hamas (November 24 to 30, 2023).
• 8 abductees were killed by Hamas and their bodies were found and rescued by the IDF.
• 3 abductees were accidentally killed by IDF forces.
• Operation Golden Hand: On February 12, 2024, security forces rescued Luis Jara (71) and Fernando Marman (61), who were abducted by Hamas on October 7 from Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak.

- What do you think would have happened if the EU proudly flaunted a statement saying “we’re the best nation” at the heart of the largest European organisation? It would have been met with accusations of nazism and white supremacy, of course.
- You are also delusional. The Arab League consists of 22 member states. Half of them are at war with their own people and have been murdering their own children for over a decade. The other half live on donations from the West.
- Nazis too believe that their race was “the best nation”. They are condemned and despised by the free, civilised world, while you expect the world to pander to your supremacy.
