DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday declared former President Donald Trump ineligible for the White House under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause and removed him from the state’s presidential primary ballot, setting up a likely showdown in the nation’s highest court to decide whether the front-runner for the GOP nomination can remain in the race.

"Then again, plenty of retards right here on FR will agree with them and proclaim Haley or DeSantis the next coming of Christ."
One of them just responded to you in post 12. That particular one has been wanting Trump imprisoned in past posts.

Is there a poll saying he won’t win Colorado in the Republican primary?
To: CaptainK
The U.S. Supreme Court will rule that Trump wasn’t given due process (no conviction on insurrection) and will overrule the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision.
To: CaptainK
As others posted, the Constitution sets the requirement for who may be President. The states have no say in it.
This will be overturned (and if not think of the chaos that will occur when the various states ban candidates they don’t like).

I care. As alluded to in the article, liberal courts across the land, who lack the canines to reach the same lawless result, will be encouraged by this decision

No surprise that my native state did this. They were also the first state to sign legislation in 1967 making it easier to murder babies in the womb.
I no longer consider myself a Coloradan - the state will be on the ash heap of history.

Remember just a few short years ago when properly investigating Mrs. Clinton was "inappropriate", because she was a Presidential candidate and that would interfere with the election?
My, how time flies and standards change ...

It’s 10 Electoral Votes in Colorado, he could still win easily.

Has DeSantis weighed in, telling us we have to respect the decisions of the courts?

The state GOP can select its delegates by caucus, the candidates for which are not subject to judicial review. It can also nominate an unpledged slate of electors.
To: CaptainK
Don’t care. Still voting Trump.

Colorodo has no jurisdiction over the rest of the US. Sounds like they are trying to secede from the Union to me. :)
Till Trump is convicted, you cannot simply declare him "guilty."
Everyone who voted for that needs their @$$ kicked, then to be disbarred, and then go to prison.
