DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday declared former President Donald Trump ineligible for the White House under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause and removed him from the state’s presidential primary ballot, setting up a likely showdown in the nation’s highest court to decide whether the front-runner for the GOP nomination can remain in the race.

California found a way to keep Republicans out of the races for elected office which is why you find 2 democrats running against each other for the Senate and other offices.

Oregon has found a way, and now Colorado is blocking the GOP candidate for President.

OK. I checked it out.

That post you linked to me had nothing to do with Mr. Trump, it was a response to some comments about a person working at a DeSantis PAC.

Furthermore, I looked up that individual in “on forum”. He’s no fan of Mr. Trump, but I found no comments suggesting that Mr. Trump should be removed from the ballot, or that he is ineligible for office.

Frankly, sir, it looks to me like you’ve leveled a false accusation at someone. That damages YOUR credibility.

I hate being right, but freedom and Marxism can’t exist in the same place.

This 14th amendment issue is like a barium test in our nation's legal system.

It's allowing us to see, with exact precision, where the infections are in our state and federal judiciary.

The disease will eventually be treated, but we have to identify sources of the ailments first.

Gov. Jared Polis on Friday named Maria Berkenkotter, a former Boulder County chief judge, to the Colorado Supreme Court.
Berkenkotter will replace retiring Chief Justice Nathan B. Coats, the last Republican-appointed justice on the state’s highest court.

He’s never been charged with insurrection.

Nor were the Confederates banned via the 14th Amendment. Of course there was no question that the Confederate war against the Union did constitute an attempted insurrection. The Colorado Supreme Court has apparently ruled that the events of January 6 constituted an ‘insurrection’ and that President Trump somehow was involved in an insurrection against the government he led.

But then the left believes men can give birth.

“so supremely confident”

They might wish to study Irish history of somewhat more than a century ago.

Catholics in Northern Ireland are happily making more voters who will vote the less than United Kingdom out of all Ireland in a matter of time.

As far as I know, no one’s been charged with insurrection.

If this ultimately stands and we don’t appropriately respond there is no hope for us as a free nation.

The problem is that you are an idiot. The offensive posts were removed by the mods. If you weren’t a moron, you’d have figured that out on your own.

That’s the path the country is clearly on largely due to the fact that DC is devoid of leadership. We are a rudderless ship taking on water and heading for the rocks.

This is why Christy-Cream, Nimrata, and Meatball are still in the race. The only feasible way any of them could be the nominee is if Trump were prevented from running.

No this must be taken to the SC. It cannot be allowed to stand. Trump has never been convicted of anything.
