The number of unruly passenger incidents has doubled this year compared to 2019 onboard KLM flights and at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the Dutch flag carrier said Thursday.
That's despite the Air France-KLM group being 6% below its pre-pandemic capacity, as it reported during this year's third-quarter results.
It suggests that airline passengers are misbehaving more frequently across the board, with scores of high-profile incidents this year — from Tiffany Gomas, the American Airlines passenger who went viral after accusing another customer of not being real, to several passengers trying to open emergency exit doors.

Another example of the effects of allowing the unwashed masses unfettered access to high technology, all in the name of obscene profits. Just like automobiles, smart phones, and the internet. In a sane world you would have to take an IQ test in order to be granted access to all these miraculous technologies. But no. Instead, our betters have made blatant abuse of all of these miracles inevitable by every friggin' idiot, lowlife, and monkey on the planet. What do you expect is going to happen?

Add to that those ilk are not being publicly PERMANENTLY banned from air travel for violence and they are not being billed for the delays which can cost thousands and thousands so far as missed flights.
Flying is a privilege, not a right.

Ok, she is absolutely stunning. Gorgeous. I hope this all works for her.

Those slides cost thousands of dollars to repack. They need to be charged for them.

An unruly passenger should be charged for the fuel used to land and takeoff. The maintenance fee for one hour of flight and any incurred loss the airline has due to this. However, I would prefer zip ties and duck tape, fly to destination and have he or her arrested and charged.

The airline should remove the alcohol and replace it with marijuana brownies and other edibles. Passengers wouldn't cause trouble unless the stewardesses ran out of Doritos.
Unfortunately, it might be difficult to get people off the plane once the destination was reached.

Charges get dropped. The airline needs to take the wheel - yes, charges for fuel and any lost flight time, reimbursement for hotels for travelers if they are affected.
And those loudmouth violent passengers need to be banned permanently.

The cram more people into airplanes now too , that might have something to do with it.

Obese people are not entitled to a second, free seat, however, I'm glad I won't have to sit next to one of them.
Flying fills me with tremendous amounts of anxiety now. You never know if you are going to be seated next to a bat-shit crazy, smelly, disgusting person for 5 hours. It has truly become the Greyhound of the Skies.
