A student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School — the site of one of the nation’s worst mass shootings — was savagely beaten by a gang of teens in a brutal caught-on-video attack, which landed the youngster in hospital.
The unidentified student was pummeled by at least a half dozen teen thugs before he was picked up and hurled onto the pavement head first near the Parkland, Florida campus — leaving him sprawled out motionless on the ground, video footage posted by TMZ on Wednesday shows.

Carried a Buck all through HS. Teacher knew I had it and a few even asked to borrow it on occasion.
Of course, this was back when kids could still bring their rifles/shotguns in to the Office during hunting season. They didn’t want kids leaving them in their vehicles due to a rash of thefts at the time...
Seems like a completely different world to me now.
Had we stayed in South Florida my kids would have been in the Pompano Beach HS or Northeast HS district. Both schools were okay when I was in school but have now turned into dens of feral youth.
In 1976 I was at Northeast HS for orientation. It was a good school back then with about a 12% black enrollment, all bused in. Because this was the last day of the school year - and this crap ALWAYS happened on the last day of the school year - there was a race riot. The black students decided to travel in packs and jump and beat any single or small group of whites they came across. This NEVER made the newspapers and was rarely talked about. You basically made your way to the student parking lot as fast as you could and hoped they hadn't slashed your tires. The school was near railroad tracks and the blacks knew better than to cross the tracks into the upper middle class white neighborhood on the other side, so if you were on foot, you made way for the tracks.
I was in band and we had been going through band orientation for up coming middle school students. When the shit hit the fan the director, Mr. Jamison, tried to get security to escort us off the campus, but they had their hands full. There weren't that many male upperclassmen there that day, so he paired one with two middle school students to escort them to safety past the tracks. I got paired up with John. As soon as John was out of sight of the bandroom he found an abandoned bicycle and removed the chain. I had no idea what he was doing. A few minutes later we rounded a corner and found ourselves face to face with four black kids. John motioned us to stand behind him and started whirling the chain.
"Come on, Motherf**kers!" he sneered.
They looked at each other, raised their hands, and backed up. A few steps back they turned and ran.
John said they are just going to get their friends and we better haul a$$. Sure enough, when we were halfway across the parking lot a group of about 10 scholars came around the corner of a portable towards us. We took off.
There was a sidewalk that ran along 56th Street towards the intersection of 56th and Dixie Highway. We took that. At the time it was an open field to the right, full of sticker weeds. They tried to cut across it. Between the sugar sand and the sticker weeds, they were slowed down. They were only about 20 yards behind us when we ran across Dixie Highway, then the tracks. We looked behind us to see them getting ready to cross Dixie Highway as well! There was still a street and a bridge to cross to actually be in the residential neighborhood. We took off.
They followed us! Off campus...into a white neighborhood! Once you go over the bridge there are apartment buildings on both sides. We ran past those and stopped in the driveway of the first residential home on the other side. Just then, a police car was coming from the east, the direction we were heading, with it's lights on.
The running black scholars immediately started walking, but the police had already seen a group of running black kids chasing white kids in a white neighborhood. In 1976. They pulled into the apartment building parking lot blocking their way.
One officer got out and headed our way. He wanted to know if we were okay. They were Fort Lauderdale Police and Northeast HS was in Oakland Park so it was out of their jurisdiction, but they headed over just in case something like this was happening. They offered us a ride home, which we accepted. The black scholars were directed back to the school and their waiting buses since they hadn't actually done anything wrong...yet...
My high school had a 50’ rifle range in the basement, you carried your gear through the halls and nobody thought a thing about it.
Not exactly as portrayed by the media, was it?
A lot of students had rifle racks filled with rifles in their pickups in the parking lot in high school which people considered perfectly normal. .
I cast and machined a 1/3 scale civil war cannon for shop class. Tested it just outside the schools North fence. Made it into the school paper.
Times have changed.
My Son has joined the Trap team at his HS... It’s a Spring thing, but he’s signed up now. Pretty sure they aren’t allowed to have their shotguns on the school grounds...
My husband grew up in Texas. He was bused to a black school and they were relentlessly hounding the white kids until his senior year and a new school opened that was majority white. Suddenly, the tables turned and those black kids tried to befriend the white kids they used to harass.
The social engineering should stop. Nobody except virtue-signaling liberals wants it.
