The FBI and Homeland Security sounded the alarm over the possibility of “lone actor violence” that could target holiday-related gatherings and other events due to tensions from the Israel-Hamas war.
The federal agencies, along with the National Counterterrorism Center, issued a public service announcement Tuesday about the heightened threat of violence this winter after issuing previous warnings in October.
While the alert was not in response to a specific plot on the feds’ radar, “various foreign terrorist media organizations have called for lone actor attacks in the US,” the agencies said.

Lone actors act entirely on their own. If a foreign organization is calling for an attack, then it’s not a “lone actor” attack. It’s a directed attack.

A lone actor is one who decides on his own to lash out. By definition, it can’t be a widespread alert. An alert is issued when attacks are expected.
Now... DOJ, pay attention... what is the motivation driving the “lone actors” to act out? If it’s Israel, I think we can start to talk about an attack on our homeland...
