Donald Trump hawks swatches of his mugshot suit in $99 NFT pitch

Want a piece of a former president? Be ready to open up your wallet.

Donald Trump is once again cashing in on his legal headaches, rolling out the “MugShot Edition” of his digital trading cards — featuring a sample of the suit he wore for his booking photo in Georgia earlier this year.

The latest card release includes a mishmash of flashy fictional images of Trump smashing through chains, donning what appears to be an Iron Man mask, and wearing a cowboy outfit.

Each digital trading card or non-fungible token (NFT) goes for around $99.

If patrons purchase 47 or more cards in one transaction, they will get a part of Trump’s mugshot suit and an invite to dinner with him at Mar-a-Lago. “For the first time, we’re creating a real physical Trump card,” the former president teased in a Truth Social video. “It was a great suit, believe me — a really good suit. It’s all cut up and you’re gonna get a piece of it.” *** Collect your own exclusive piece of American history and we’ll all have fun together. Have a good life,” Trump added.

Late last year, shortly after launching his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump teased a “major announcement.”

That turned out to be the first release of his Trump Digital Cards, which quickly sold out. ***

As you know I’m a big fan of The Trump.
I already have much of his merchandise proudly hanging in my bar.
What I’m waiting for is The Meatball NFTs. They would be great hanging in the local men’s room. I think you know what I mean 😉👢👢

How pathetic has this guy become? A total embarrassment.

Imagine the mocking of Bill Clinton supporters we would have done back in the day. And deservedly so.

It was until the Mantle card sold for 12 mil.

Trump hawking a piece "the real Armani."

What a lovely Christmas gift idea. Make sure to put it in a gold frame and have it facing toward Mar-A-Lago.

This man was a freaking President of the United States and he is behaving like a cross between the ShamWow guy and Benny Hinn

Trump is, at his very core, a carnie barker.

It's just who he is.

Unfortunately, the president of the United States is also Head of State, equivalent to what the monarch represents in Great Britain. So, POTUS represents the country—its history, standing in the world, traditions, its national identity, as well as he represents his party and his administration.

Trump has never gotten that part. The fact that he held the same office as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower, and Ronald Reagan apparently never registered with him. So, it doesn’t matter that he’s disgracing it and the American people with his sleazy antics. I voted for him twice but won’t again.

Good one. I like the way you think.

There are a lot of similarities between the followers of Benny Hinn and the current fervent group.

Nice.

Rember how everyone here use to goof on how trashy and low rent the Clinton's were?

You are absolutely correct. Unlike most world leaders, the President of the United States is both chief executive and the head of state. There is a significant part of the office that should transcend partisan politics and requires a bare minimum of dignity and respect for the office.

And that holds true for former presidents as well.

MAGA may eat this crap up with a spoon, but try convincing middle class voters in traditionally Republican suburbs that this crass, clownish, classless behavior is just fine. It explains why Trump lost in 2020, and why he will probably lose again in 2024
