Details about the reasons behind such decisions would provide a clearer understanding of the situation.
Navy has been doing this a lot as well. Same reason on all of them.
Disillusioned minority. Note that many others were removed. Weeding out dissent?
Sounds like sort of a do-nothing job actually. Commander, her job was to deter potential aggresion against NATO. Has Russia attacked NATO? No! So her deterrence worked then, apparently.
Just to add insult to insult, so I presume we also have a lot of positions in say CENTCOM related to deterring terrorist aggression against ourselves and allies. So, was anyone fired as a result of the clear failure of deterrence against terrorist aggression in the case of Hamas? Of course when you are paying Hamas to do what they were perparing to do, maybe your concept of deterrence needs to be rethought, but I am not a diplomatic genius like Blinken or a military genius like Sullivan or Austin.
For a minority female to be fire it must have been a major FU. Or, was she not following the new rules. I’m holding my dry powder until I see more because something ain’t right about this.
Promoted probably because of her ethnicity and gender. It’s like the founder of a successful business putting his idiot kid in charge; just a bad idea.

Shirking responsibility has become normal for Congress as they prefer someone else make hard decisions thus avoiding as much blame as possible when things go wrong.
For a black female to be fired, I can’t imagine what she had to do. Lose a few nukes perhaps?

Never any field experience where the bullets whizzing.
Even Colin Powell did better, there.
Since ‘she was known’, possible swept under rug of secrecy, to ‘location X’, where she might do good ...sorta Patton’s removal to command ghost army?
One should look at the part of the story that stated:
“In the past few years, colonels have been removed from command for reasons varying from toxic leadership to inappropriate relationships and bad judgment in general.”
Too many DEI promotions.
Oh, wow…this was probably a Democrat turned Trump supporter. There is no way in hell Biden’s military would fire a black female commander no matter how incompetent.
Probably going to be the new “Aide” to Lloyd Austin, (Callsign, “Knob”).
